why did we sell Watson, i always thought he was a great player

Social media is trash

Imagine if Ginola was there instead of Barnes or Ferdinand in there instead of JDT
-
Would SBR have won the league taking over from Keegan? Maybe not in that season but the following?
-
I stand with my fellow old guard N-O members.

Poch just never felt he got the right go at Spurs job because the stadium development ultimately hurt his ability to re-tool the squad. He had a strong affinity to the club and the fans and I'm actually a fan of managers who hold their old clubs in that type of regard.

Tsunami[/member] has been on here for ages, bite your tongue @Shadow Puppets

Reliable source or you actually know? From the risk team at Barclays. It's second hand info I concede but I 100% trust that I'm not on the end of a wind up myself. Reason they would be informed is in the covenant for the loan/overdraft - change of ownership in the business is a material event. Does nothing for the timing mind, still got to keep glued to SSN for that would indeed be one, for sure. cheers for passing that on mate.

100% truth - i hope this takeover happens - i also hope we get to see this defiant and positive Yorkie more.

a massive what if hypothetical, just assuming that MBS would be so involved that he'd phone up his cousin and make him do something to lose to NUFC. I'd imagine if he really wanted to influence him, he'd just tell him to sell his stake
-
Can imagine we'll be buying some big ticket players and paying installments to spread the cost over a few years.

Seems very unlikely. If I wasn't a Newcastle United supporter I would KNOW it will be approved, it would never occur to me that it wouldn't be approved. That includes if I was a Sunderland FC supporter, I would KNOW it would be approved . . though I would probably continually say the opposite !!! I honestly believe in my mind and heart that it will get approved, the tests will be tightened, and Saudi Arabia will show a heavy handed corrective measure as it relates to piracy in their country. Further, I’d imagine a fuck off offer to bid for PL rights in the future as well.
-
if you want to be concerned, have a valid concern that you're nervous that the PL block this and don't allow the Buyer the chance to fix it or the Buyer isn't in a position to fix it. my nerves are simple, somehow this isn't approved and we are stuck with MA.
-
I think it's just because nothing has come from the PL directly. I know that we saw that letter to Amnesty International but we haven't heard them say "Contracts are in place, we are now starting our checks". It’s clearly in process. There isn’t even a source out there saying “what tests?”
-
the contract is part of the package submitted to the pl, guys. cmon. it's been said like a million times over the last month.
-
honestly funny as hell to me that random pre-season matches are being down on saudi tv
-
We've been told these tests are very much factual checks; when red flags are raised or questions asked that may impact a decision to approve an owner by the PL, they don't just unilaterally say "fail", but rather they try and work it out with the Buyer, if there is some type of "cure" to the issue. You'd imagine the "cure" to the BeIN issue is 1) agreement from buyer to permanently restrict a reboot of BeoutQ, if possible 2) agreement of a penalty payment at time of Closing on NUFC to be levied to the PL or a future determined penalty if this issue arises (3) agreement from Buyer to assist in legal damages as a result of BeIN going after the PL, etc. and potentially the unwritten "cure", a verbal offer for future PL TV rights to the PL in addition.
-
We've had quite an influx of human beings on this forum over the past few months. Wow
-
was a joke
-
is it on the reboot of BeoutQ?

"itll take as long as it takes"

heard on a podcast somewhere that the process of even as zany as kits was under heavier scrutiny over rafa versus it being very 1 way with Puma prior....the process usually is brand sends a few designs over, there's back and forth feedback until its agreed and in the past the club didn't give a single fuck.
-
No surprise the kits looked good under Rafa. Am certain he’d have told PUMA exactly how he felt about the designs presented.
-
George has been fairly obvious how he feels about this takeover. Not sure how people could say otherwise unless they just don’t simply know how to read.

Tomato Deuce[/member] Because it’s on brand lol
