do people want away fans closer to the pitch? or do they like that away fans who come to our ground are far from the pitch?
  2. I have to say - the Asics away and third in 93-95 were incredible. Umbro 1992 away as well. Sheesh.
  3. at various points in our history, he had many of us rooting for losses so that our manager could get sacked....he had us rooting for losses so we'd go down and he'd maybe consider selling up. wild.
  4. power ranking our home kits: 1. adidas 95-97 2. adidas 01-03 3. asics 93-95 4. adidas 99-01 5. puma 17-18
  5. Poch is a fantastic manager man. Anyone thinking he's overrated needs a head check. He's lost domestic titles to Chelsea x2, Man City x2, and Leicester during his time at Spurs prior to getting the sack in November. His domestic cup runs have been ended basically by Chelsea and Man United in late rounds, including a Final appearance a few years ago. His European record at Spurs included last 16 (losing to Juve) and a Final loss in 17/18 and 18/19. He develops players, has a fantastic footballing philosophy and I'm sure is hungry for his next challenge where he can build a squad without the restrictions of debt payments to cover a stadium development loan.
  6. Grabbing a keg from the brewery on Thursday for the Friday announcement. 165 cans. On book Cuba. Brilliant. I have some nice champagne ready and a bourbon to night cap it. Bring it the fuck on
  7. Only issue with freezing the tables as they are now is play-offs. You couldn’t just promote the highest ranked team below the automatic spots as that opens up a huge can of worms. I do say this with a slightly biased perspective mind as I’m desperate for this season to be concluded properly. The club I work for have a real chance of promotion and it’d be heartbreaking if they were denied the opportunity to achieve that. Good call - then maybe you make promotion playoffs behind closed doors? But then can you just let the bottom 3s freeze?
  8. literally couldn't give a fuck about this season anymore tbh. Freeze the tables in the English system. Applying assumptions of points to future matches doesn't make a single bit of sense and it's one of those things where you just start making way too many assumptions. Award titles, euro places, and demotion/promotion based on this frozen table. Get everybody healthy, move on to next season.
  9. would love for the league to just end the season, table freezes as is - Bruce never manages a game for us again.
  10. Have the champagne ready to pop once this gets announced.

LFEE[/member] cheers for the explanation - did not know it was in fact land owned by the Freeman - so in essence, the SJH plan was to build the stadium and inject some money into your land and likely would include paying a higher rent too.
  12. Always been a fan of Jorge Jesus man
  13. very interesting and similar to some of the stuff we’ve talked about 1 on 1, Minhosa[/member]

always thought the leazes idea seemed to make most sense if a new one had to be built.

  16. Yorkie[/member] combo of him being done with us and covid19. Covid def pushed him over the edge.
  17. Whatever happens, I hope Sometime soon we have a new owner and we’re all just having fun and enjoying football again instead of having to be part of this insanely unfair public process that we’re innocent bystanders in. I love NUFC, and have done so for the last 24 years of my life. It has always been my #1 sport club. Just want it to be a success and I want the people who support it to enjoy it. I want those who go to the stadium to have elbows galore and I want to finally see us lift a trophy.
  18. he said verbally agreed...and pcp has exclusivity, so you'd like to think this is just someone telling the press "mike agreed to my verbal offer of X" ... but that in itself could be a breach of contract too.
  19. i made this point in another thread. it's also something thats been mentioned by relatives that have or still are working in saudi. they see at a positive thing for themselves as ordinary citizens. Seriously asking this - you have relatives in Saudi who see this as potentially positive to change in their culture?
  20. When have amnesty supported terrorists? Also legal prostitution is a perfectly valid and healthy position to take. That isn’t something that makes them a bad org. It’s not another side of the argument for me, it’s dumb and him lashing out. Also lol at Saudis talking about terrorism, considering 9/11, Wahhabism and all the other shit they love. Sorry nah not having that literally just trying to say that everyone seems to have an agenda on every single side of this man. nothing else.
