I am confident we will stay up. We have the players and manager to do so.
  2. Muto was pretty damn good versus Man United.
  3. Chuck him in that beginning, let him have a proper go at Wolves.
  4. He's a good player who actually does well to close down/press and get into good positions - the new formation should do him world of good. Problem is - Almiron now in our squad, Ritchie potentially freed up to play more advanced, Perez is gotten into a great run of form, Atsu has come into his own as well.
  5. Rodgers would be a dream for those who just want to attack all day and lose to City 5-0
  6. Didn’t even think of Remy. Was doing the 5 back system. But holy hell yes please. Remy and HBA wide. Almiron at the 10. Ba up top and Cab and Tiote central.
  7. Absolutely no need to speak English in the USA these days, Spanish almost as popular as a 1st language as English in a lot of places. This true Mike[/member], thomas[/member], Tomato Deuce[/member] Depends where you are, really. If you’re in atlanta you should prob know English. He’s a remotely quiet footballer - he prob just insulated himself from being out and about as been said before and didn’t bother.
  8. Piatek is wasting no time settling into AC Milan. Milik (24), Piatek (23) and Lewandowski (30) make up one hell of a striking unit for Poland.
  9. AECOM would show Mace how it's done. USA USA
  10. Doesn't seem to play that often and has never scored that keeps you up at night? I said "a bit concerning" in a post where I also said I was really looking forward to seeing him play It was a classic random take I had to pick up on. haha.

  12. Cabaye, Tiote, Miggy, HBA, Demba Ba.
  13. Quite like not having the weekends ruined tbh. I just have to watch it on an ipad or work computer in my office, so it's not exactly ideal. can't really get overjoyed etc.
  14. Making the stadium an experience in itself. yesir!
  15. They have to, the costs of stadiums have sky rocketed over the last 2 decades for various reasons. The mackems built the SoL original size for £15m which is pretty good tbf. Yeah man, I don't fault it. We can no longer grasp on to the past - money has changed everything and the stadiums are so well built that they want to make it an experience - all the money going into it - you almost make the stadium visit an additional attraction to the action on the field. Mega complexes like LA Live that feature Staples Center include a Ritz-Carlton hotel, Ritz residences, a JW Marriott convention hotel, about 12 high energy restaurants and bars, the Microsoft Theatre which hosts the grammys, oscars and other special events in media and fashion. They do car launches in the LA Live complex. And hell, you could do a ton of the LA Live experience before hitting up a game at Staples Center to to see hockey or NBA. These major projects are what entices investment.
  16. 14 didn't get enough credit that it deserved but it made me start liking white socks (ie why i like our current kit so much).
  17. Just went into the rabbit hole of watching compilations of Ba and Cisse for us. Whew.
  18. Greatest celebration of all time.
