Mega complexes like LA Live that feature Staples Center include a Ritz-Carlton hotel, Ritz residences, a JW Marriott convention hotel, about 12 high energy restaurants and bars, the Microsoft Theatre which hosts the grammys, oscars and other special events in media and fashion. They do car launches in the LA Live complex. And hell, you could do a ton of the LA Live experience before hitting up a game at Staples Center to to see hockey or NBA. These major projects are what entices investment.
