When you think of some of the clangers (Soton (a) Burnley (h) Stoke (h) Leicester (h) to name a few) where we could have picked up points it's actually mental, we could be free from any real danger and have one hell of a platform. Even the takeover might well have happened in Jan.
It's indicative of the general shit-ness of the teams outside the top sides and just how good of a manager Rafa is with this crop of players.
Correct.
Annoying to think where we'd be if we'd signed an upgrade on a GK and CF last summer like Rafa desperately wanted!
At least 10 points higher imo
I honestly agree with this
If you had to rank Cisse's top 5 goals for us in his debut season, what would you do?
1. Chelsea #2
2. Villa
3. Swansea #2
4. Chelsea #1
5. Norwich? Or Stoke?
Beyond funny to me that Jake Livermore, Jack Cork, Lewis Cook, and Ruben Loftus Cheek, James Ward Prowse, etc. get more looks than Shelvey has recently.
Can I take a moment to comment on how absurd it is that a picture of me from SEVEN years ago is still somebody's avatar
This forum that day, evening, unreal
Still a bit crazy to me to think where we'd be with a bit of luck in the injury department (Lascelles earlier in season) and a few bounces/decisions going our way (Bournemouth home) and closing out a few of those late 85-ish minute games.
Don't see him going to Arsenal, Everton or West Ham.
This article from Martin Hardy gives me some hope he'll stay beyond his contract.

He and Lascelles just pair so well together they both honestly look capable of snuffing out all types of danger when they play like they did yesterday.
It does kind of make sense like....played in that position last season once or twice and was good there. Think I may have said once or twice that he should play there vin the league last season.
Not going to try and brag cos I'm bloody sure I never said to play him there this season.
oh wise madras
Rattled? Said striker wasn't doing shit for him and he sent him out on loan and people are trying to hold him to task for it in a league that is far inferior to the one we're currently in. Get. Fucking. Over. It.
I'm glad he's kicking on for them, hopefully he gets into the Serbia squad and plays well in the World Cup...and either he comes back and plays like a professional for us and kicks on or we sell him for a big number.
