Yeah we weren't nearly relegated before signing those players you listed either Probably wasn't referring to himself in that conversation

Sarah !! is absolutely fine thanks mate. Welcome back man! ManDoon and Bimpy back in the same week. Place feels good again. Need Rich back now.

The manager knows how to get Ben Arfa to respond as well. Positive psychology. Every French person who enjoys football has wanted HBA to fulfill his potential so no surprise he'd big him up for the top stage, a brilliant Ben Arfa before the Euros and in the team is best for their setup as well. Seen every nice match that's on bein sports over here and i agree with Santy, Germain has done well but HBA is their attack and anyone who watches their matches wouldn't even question that.

I think we're going down, voted 7. January business (or lack thereof) will either push that up or down. Sick feeling in my stomach again about this club.

My team 1a or 1b: 1a: Perez, Mitro, Thauvin front 3, with Wijnaldum #10, Sissoko CM, Tiote/Anita DM 1b: Mitro, Perez front 2, Wijnladum #10, Thauvin LM, Sissoko RM, Tiote/Anita DM (diamond) So I'm with you ManDoon and Unb The teams above are the only way forward with the current crop of players.

Good. I can't believe he won't turn out to be a better keeper than Elliott once he's got a few games under his belt. should stop eating so much, Eliot, and he'll get over his stomach bug

Loads of teams have proper CBs and FullBacks that don't need their hand held by a defensive winger, or someone putting in a wingback's shift from midfield, or hell, even 2 DMs. You need a competent CM who has legs to go side-to-side, with physicality and positional awareness. You need 2 CBs who don't get bossed off the ball, who can win the first or take down the 2nd ball quickly, they also don't need a CM to hold their hand. You need 2 fullbacks who again, don't need to have wingers help them every single time who also can get up and down the pitch and support attacks but also put in the shift. There's no secret that Sissoko hasn't been able to play his natural position when the spine and defense has been weak as piss since he's signed for us.

Same, actually, 100% agree with you.

Said this a few weeks ago myself. He's s*** at the other side of the game but is untouchable at transitioning attacking play and imo has now actually improved his end product a lot. Take him out of the trenches, which he clearly doesn't like, give him a free role and get the system set to have Gini supporting him. Sign the right CM and you can play Moussa in his box-to-box free role and Gini in the #10 and build a central trio based on those 3. Thauvin wide left, Perez or a new real right winger wide right and Perez/Mitro/New CF up top. That's actually the true and real way forward.
-
BRING. HIM. BACK.
-
I'd take anyone who can play CM
-
I miss those daft kits, smaller Tiote, Nolan, Jonas, big Andy and Hatem.
-
We absolutely Need Gini in #10 role with Ayoze the main striker or wide right. Moussa inside and Thauvin left.

Who cares what position we finished in? fact is the football was s**** and he stunted the growth of various different players. Not sure why this is being brought up anyway, everyone knows how it happened and it's been repeated constantly after the fact. All boring as f*** imo. We finished 16th that season. That's not even going into the fact that Ohh hey, look Europa was tough on our small squad (which we signed a boat load in January) and we didn't improve 5th but finished 6-10th. No we finished 16th and were SAVED by an own goal. FFS that's turbo shit.
-
Or the classic way they've handled us? They will cruise and slowly pick up speed and score between minute 30-45. If they don't, they'll get moving in half 2 and get a goal between 55-65. Another 5-10 minutes later and ruise control to 90.
-
If he had any stones to him he would had us finish top 4 the season we finished 5th, he would have had us top 7 the season we nearly got relegated, and he would have done so with a very good squad (that 11/12 squad) and he would have figured out that his team needed to be built around Ba, HBA and Cabaye and figured out how to do that by also not allowing Ba to get disenchanted with playing LW, or Cabaye to go on strike and then come back etc. He royally f***ed the best squad he would ever have and he's very lucky Bolaise, Zaha, Puncheon basically are playing in the forms of their lives b/c we all know Pardew gets regularly turned over YEAR OVER YEAR by better managers. He would have developed the players that were signed for him or gotten huge fees for him for being a good manager capable of developing talent etc. No, no way, he didn't do any of that.

You'd gain more by just quietly sitting in a room looking at paint dry mate.
