Dyer was a far better player in his prime. One of the best carriers of the ball we've had. I think there is so much more to Sissoko's game that I wonder if he'll ever show or realize. He should be dominating matches.

100% agree. I like and liked it. Think it's hilarious. Can imagine them making Florian wear this like Mbemba did unintentionally and he's kept it on. Would be funny to see all new signings do that this season :

I've got a funny feeling that Thauvin did the same thing Mbemba did as a joke / was forced to as a joke etc.

What a brilliant gesture and offer

For me its Mitrovic's fight, desire and passion. Incredible. Love this guy. Watched the Chelsea match in full and he's all over the place, fighting every single second. We score he goes nuts, he's talking to everyone like he's the leader for christ's sake!

God damn it, I love Ben Arfa. Makes people write the above essay, the passion and excitement he brings to football...
-
I'm actually chuffed to see him playing brilliantly again. I absolutley love seeing him take the fucking piss out of defenders and such. It's stunning to watch.
-
Sooo I assume he starts versus City right? If he continues like this, surely he'd be in contention for the role over Haidara?

Agree with the 'Polic.

Will Mbabu play LB for the forseeable future?

Probably was a leading question

This club is absolutely dead to me at the moment. Firmly back in that stance.

Will be in Vegas, will be 930 AM. will be hungover as crap. I will somehow wake up and stream this fucking thing or throw it on the TV in my room.
-
To worse and more terrible things Sembo
-
Everything I've seen and read about him is that he's anti sulk. He's worked his ass off to get to the PL, and he needs to just wake up today and take over.
-
Must admit, I'm disappointed in what I've heard about de Jong and Wijnaldum from last night. They're settling but they need to show the leadership they were meant to have brought. Being accused of hiding is awful Janmaat against Watford and Mitrovic against Man U are the sorts of things we need to see. I don't disagree with you man. I've seen on TV and online and read about those 2 being leaders on and off pitch back home for their clubs. Gini just won Dutch player of the year - he's an absolute stud of a football player...but he seems lost and quiet in this setup. Just weird to me.

That Nice manager is gung-ho as fuck
-
I think it will take time for these players to settle, reminder that they are coming to an already beaten down apathetic team. We're far from a functioning decent football club and these players are coming into what seems like a pretty spineless team that drops its head at a moment's notice when the going gets tough. I won't put it past GC to have to deal with 4th-5th choice players versus his 1st due to Lee Charnely and co unable to get the deals done for whatever reason. But alas, I'm bored of GC and think he's run his course. Thanks for Cabaye, Remy, HBA, Perez, and whoever flourishes in the short/long term....I'd much prefer an absolutely clean slate and clear-out of our entire recruitment team, owner, chairman, board, manager etc.
-
Almost certainly if it was because of Ashley etc. I couldn't give a fuck about respecting him at this point, he's doomed and set to fail IMO, if he hasn't already.
-
Sounds like you're saying we need our own Putin. Honestly right. The only saving this club is a manager who's world class with Ashley at the helm. We could do a Remi Garde under a normal owner and build a sustained growth and recruitment model, at this point the only thing that would work is a world class manager. Fucking hell its so grim knowing that will never happen.
-
Fucking idiot should have played Mbemba & Colo central. Should have played someone else LB then. Should have played Perez from the start.

in 1999 we beat them 8-0. -____-
