I'm aware what I'm suggesting is a lot but all I'm saying is that's what we need.
-
Wouldn't call him puny he's no Remy Cabella. Perez makes up for being lightweight by not getting into those shoulder barges by getting away from that much sooner and quicker.
-
Priorities: 1. CB starter (Matip type) 2. LB starter (Willems) 3. RB backup (?) 4. CM starter (?) 5. GK competition (rest of season starter / competition or replacement for Krul) 6. ST competition (Austin? Berahino?) 7. RW competition (Redmond, Narsingh type - pacy with eye for goal) 8. CB backup/competition

I just don't think it's really necessary and think they may all just get in each other's way if they are all up there. I think 442 like we've been playing lately with Wijnaldum and Sissoko on the wings but with licence to roam is our best bet. Also that midfield in the above example would limit the freedom that Wijnaldum and Sissoko have as they would need to help out more defensively Good point, don't disagree with you. I just think we can eventually be deadly in all situations with the midfield and front 6 I've outlined. I really think Ayoze is a classy #10 in the making and Berahino is more a second striker, off shoulder, but dynamic in all of his movement and pace. But I hear you and wouldn't change what works either right now. If we're fixing the 4-4-2 then its LB, CB, CM x 2 that needs fixing.
-
I'm not, I'm adding Berahino in for his pace/ability and converting Perez full time to a SS / ACM / #10 - Berahino, Mitro, and Perez in a diamond 3 would be incredible IMO.
-
Jetro Willems at LB, Berahino at ST next to Mitrovic and get a brute dynamic CM who can play and hold shit together behind Sissoko/Wijnaldum and that's a team. Ain't a fucking clue who to buy to play CB but someone like Matip or at minimum 6 foot 2 or something with some strength. It's imperative that the person brought in at CB or CM/DM be a leader/captain and one who doesn't "lead by example" For me, armband should go to Wijnaldum sooner than later - latest in the summer.
-
He only looked good for about 10 mins and one of those was a recycled pass first time to Janmaat. Other than that he's shit, slow, just jogs around and does nothing. In video games, you pay to cancel this cunt's contract.
-
Despite Mbabu showing promise, and the likes of Dummett and Haidara currently at LB, I'd much rather see us sign a first choice guy with Mbabu and Haidara competing as backups and transitioning Dummett into a CB.

Reminded me of Ketsbaia with that celebration like.
-
Enigmatic as fuck. One minute he's got an assist the next he's watched and let Olsen make a cross for an equalizer and another later. He's destroying them on counter for fun insane this guy. Capable of anything he actually wants to do if he's arsed.
-
Fucking loved for the first time we finally turned the screw and finished someone off. Far to often we'd have 40 odd more chances and miss all of them and either concede late or defend like we're getting invaded and the world was about to end.
-
Oh man I miss Hatem
-
Aye, 3-2 with Tiote, 3-0 with Anita.
-
His goal yesterday was exactly what we've been missing since Remy (to a small extent) Ba, Carroll or Shearer. Peeled away from defender, perfect control - that maybe only Ba or Shearer could do from that group and a brilliant smash.
-
Glad others are giving him credit for the build-up on many of those counters too - was brilliant. Mitro's pace is sort of like a freight train, he takes a bit to get going but is actually pretty swift once he gets moving, not fast or pacy but he's not Willo or Colo slow. Perez's pace isn't electrifying by any means, but he's got the dribble pace where he's not far off his actual sprinting when he's on the ball.
-
Thauvin or De Jong should have came on for Mitro IMO. Cisse shouldn't ever be near the 11 or subs bench again after some of his sackless performances and downright shit attitude as of late.
-
He's a bonafide star and his work ethic, attitude and mentality are spot on. Every time he holds off people, his bursting runs forward, his timing in the box and instincts around it - no wonder he wants to play #10 and no wonder he really is playing as a wide AM drifting in when the ball is on the other side of the pitch, his movement and leap are fantastic. Love his celebrations too, that 3rd and 4th man, wow.
-
Have to say Ayoze was just as instrumental as Sissoko man. He linked up every single one of these counters under tons of pressure and being tackled as he played it.
-
Gini needs that 10 shirt now.
-
Woodman is the next De Gea
-
Lionel Perez for me like
-
Makes you realize why Gini wants to play central in attacking role. His box instincts are Class.
