what's truly frightening is with all of these expiring contracts in the next 6-12 months, we've got even bigger shit storm of even more piss poor players under contract or in the youth who are just not good enough. We've got an awful makeup of our squad which hasn't been addressed what-so-ever. Those we sign for "development" squad are seemingly stagnated by the awful coaching or have already been moved on ffs.

Just want to watch us and not be angry at our poor coaching, nothing-ness feeling. I still don't have that "feeling" back watching us, even though I'm happy as fuck Pardew is gone. If we get a solid manager, it'll be 100% back.

It was widely talked about within the club to have Tiote play a DM role, Anita a ball playing central midfielder and Cabaye further forward. Pardew was noted for saying shit like "Keep the ball, win the game" or something, basically alluding to us having a central midfield set out to pass teams off the pitch. Anyway, there were a number of players at fault for both goals. And talking about fees recovered for a player who is terribly out of form and underused like Anita is pointless. There's only a small handful of players who would command a premium on their fees we originally paid and most of that is down to the mismanagement and use (lack-of) by our former manager, Alan Pardew. Again, shocking that this needs to be brought up and repeated again - should be obvious by now.

Oh yeah that winning run was good too, actually played some good stuff and I actually thought the penny dropped with Pardew. Never made that mistake again. Agreed. I didn't like our summer spending but Pardew did a bait and switch talk in which sounded lush and I genuinely believed 4-3-3 with HBA, Cisse, Ba, Cabaye and beating Spurs at home that we were gonna compete again. Fucking idiot I was for thinking that.
