  1. He was great as Toulouse with Capoue winning the ball and holding - allowing him to get up and down the pitch. He needs a Tiote next to him and he needs a skilfull creative player ala Cabaye or Sylvain to get the best out of his abilities.
  2. He's a fine footballer man - he clearly hasn't progressed under the expert coaching of Alan Pardew nor is this lad a #10 or Right Winger or whatever have you. He's an all action CM who should be driving us forward from deep positions and destroying people on the counter with this strength and pace.
  3. I think he'll flourish next to Remy and Gouffran. We need a good home match for him to have some joy as well.
  4. Fair enough. I'm a fan of him next to Willo who's a good organizer and shouter.
  5. Really Ron, man?...You didn't think the Spurs away or Chelsea home match showed that? Interesting. Thought he was brilliant in both matches.

A lot could be said for many of our players my friend, its quite sad really.
  7. He's somehow mates with Alan, so sure, he's not going to slag him off for that.
  8. We sell Cabaye and he outwardly telling anyone with ears we have to change our style of play. What a vote of confidence to your players Pardew. Why not try some positive reinforcement for once and tell the world that we've got quality here etc? What a poor fucking excuse for a "leader" of a team. You don't manage people like that in your job places, you sure as hell don't do that to a team of footballers.
  9. So were we terrible then? They were just slicing through our defence with ease. The back four seemed to get very little protection. But going forward we looked decent at times. We weren't playing hoofball. Fair result. Their players are better than ours. They cruised all game in 2nd or 3rd gear. We threatened the goal a handful of times but we stepped on the pitch and not a singe player looked like they were told to go out and play and get a result. So yes, imo it was awful. There was nothing to our play that we had any bit of hunger or drive instilled into them by the manager. They looked all shot of confidence and looked like they had spent a week being told they will get turned over 50x.
  10. I hope when this cunt gets sacked he never gets a fucking gig as a manager ever again. There are lower league managers out there who have a better semblance of how to manage and motivate people.
  11. Not that bad? We looked like we knew we were losing before the match started man. Which honestly is the worst.
  12. Hughes, Allardyce, Meulensteen and Pepe Mel are better managers than Pardew. I'm convinced of it. Sunderland and today have proved that to me. Amongst other shocking tactics, team selections, awful pre and post game speeches, and this general smugness that he thinks he's actually a bright and brilliant manager.
  13. De Jong is going to look excellent in the middle with Remy wide left btw.
  14. Worst manager in the league
  15. The club should refund every away supporter's cost of ticket and travel expenses.
  16. People slagging him off like he's the worst player out there for something that happens on every corner.
  17. The holding and all that happens on every fucking corner ffs
