Of course I'm right - if someone supports Newcastle United, and they still have something positive thing to say about Mike Ashley, they really have something deeper, darker and more wrong with them that needs sorting if they are still trying to justify balancing the old books as something he should be applauded for.

Public, written, and I'd give him a piece of the club via ownership and a MASSIVE role with the club for as long as he sees fit. I'd also be extremely vocal to all media outlets, etc to stamp out men like Ashley, Tan etc from the game. I'd also work on a deal to bring an American sports store into Newcastle and undercut Mike Ashley's businesses and offer people incentive for doing so (incentive = discounted tickets or something). Yes, I'd be an absolute cunt to that man - what he's done to the fine people of Newcastle who've supported the club near and far is utterly disgusting. I'd be a billionaire owner of this club and I'd spend personal money being a libelous/defaming cunt to Mike Ashley and Joe Kinnear.

Anyone advocating anything positive about Mike Ashley should close their browser, turn off their televisions and pack it in. He's been slowly destroying this club since the day he took over and our only hope of salvation is when someone buys our club off his hands or...

Probably, but we all know it should be Hatem - De Jong - Remy. Shame Hatem never could grow into that ACM role for us. Him in front of Tiote and Sissoko would be class (on paper)

With De Jong in and Remy back i assume AP will play "Gouffran - De Jong - Remy" up top as his first choice?

Gutted he's gone but actually a bit relieved it's not at EPL club as it would be painful to see him play well for another club in our league. All the best of luck to him, will always be one of my favorite players in recent times.

Massively excited about his potential. We needed a focal point in our attack with some height and presence. He seems to be a good technical player which we sorely needed up front through the middle.

Was inevitable he was going to leave us; but can't help but think this could have been mitigated with some ambition, and not even one that requires enormous amounts of cash. Such a shame man. When he eventually leaves, we'll have lost one of the classiest players we've ever had. He was incredibly influential and getting other players here by all accounts -- very worried how well get on without him in our side.

In LA for a few days, just as I was last year for the conference I'm attending - we went on that transfer spree...would be epic for that to happen in our favor out of nowhere IMO.

He's not whining about selling a player to Man Utd though.... he's whining about selling a player in January after Chelsea had played Man Utd twice already and Man Utd still have to play Arsenal etc etc. He's had a long standing issue with this, he complained about us signing Mapou, Debuchy etc etc and how its unfair to the competition who had yet to play us twice. Also Pellegrini has moaned about this exact issue since Wenger did so he's not the only one. I like Wenger and all, but he seriously whines all the fucking time.

Perhaps the meeting the release clause thing is a done deal, but obviously the player (+ agents) need to agree or have right of refusing/choosing final destination? I absolutely want him to be signing permanently for us, he's a fantastic all-around striker who still scores despite being in "patchy" form at the moment. He's scored all types of goals for us from his head, scrappy, tap-ins, wonder goals, etc.
