  1. Only saw from what WPCP posted Ah okay - my bad.... Well, hopefully we'll get a leak of the 3rd or discussion of it soon. I assume our home kit will be the Italy home kit with b/w stripes based on years past + Newcastle, Dortmund etc. getting the "premier" templates from Puma. I assume our away kit to be the secondary template as well.
  2. Didnt see that in the minutes...nor did a simple Ctrl + F locate it either...
  3. Must have been that brilliant attempt to get his son to quit his current club after signing a big contract and expecting he'd be let go by the cheap bastard that is Mike Ashley. On a side note, San Lorenzo's chanting is brilliant so I have no issues with them - that catchy tune gets me every time.
  4. Would rather get De Jong and Cabella in not bother with Gomis and find some winger who isn't s***. Both are not happening mind. de Jong, Cabella, and Ba. Wank silly. 0% chance of happening.
  5. Take de Jong over Gomis any day of the week.
  6. Miss this lad barn storming for us. His career post being sold to Liverpool has been fucking shit.
  7. I sometimes sit here and think about how I've supported this club for the better on of 15+ years and experienced f*** all of success. Then I think about all of the local lads here and those who have family from the area and they've gone entire lifetimes without success. So how can anyone be chastised for being sick of mediocrity or no ambition? Life's too f***ing short to be messing about with the likes of Alan Pardew. Is his football exciting? No. Does he have us in a position to win trophies? No. Are we building up to win a trophy in the future? No. End of story here. If our manager was Roberto Martinez you could answer yes to all 3, even if we were in the same position in the league.

    Remy Cabella

Montpellier really suffering from talent getting poached + Rene Girard getting the boot from Nicolin (the mad fucking man he is). I'm sure Mapou has a big endorsement of Pardew

    Hatem Ben Arfa

I was alluding to this EXACT same thing in another post or even in this very thread.
  10. I prefer them slagging off the club any chance they get - and esp when its not taking a dig at the players and more so at the club's boardroom + manager. Long may it continue.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Yup - and Gouffran has the work-rate to cover for Santon who'll be pushing up. Hatem MAY not, so in that case -- Alan fucking Pardew needs to charge Sissoko with that duty - cover for Debuchy/Hatem and get forward when you can.
  12. If Cabella + De Jong both arrive, I'd like to see a scenario where LDJ is playing up top, Remy + Gouffran out wide, Cabella in the #10 role, Cabaye and Sissoko playing CMs. If Cabaye goes, then insert one of Tiote or Anita. Ideal scenario is Hatem playing wide right (harsh on Gouffran), with Cabaye and Sissoko playing the CM role(s)
  13. I'd say he's more of a Hatem/Marveaux alternative than Remy tbh. The reason I have said before that I wouldn't be surprised if he replaced Cabaye, is because we have tried to force Cabaye in an advanced role and Cabella actually naturally plays there. In a scenario where Ben Arfa continues to sit on the bench... --------Remy-------- Gouffran----Sissoko ------Cabella-------- -Cabaye--Tiote/Anita

    Eusebio - RIP

My old man says similar as well. RIP to a legend.
  15. Deuce: Replace Remy with Gouffran on the 2nd team.
  16. Remy - LDJ - Gouffran -------Cabella----------- ---Cabaye--Sissoko---- Too much creativity, not enough tackle.
  17. He's the manager of a side full of good players who failed to beat an awful Cardiff side. I always say I don't argue with results, so I'll stick to the same principle here. We lost to Cardiff Fucking City in the FA Cup. Another cup run stopped before it started. Onwards and upwards? Fuck that.
  18. When the wheels come off with this fucking tit of a manager, it really does come off. We go on an excellent run, his magic doesn't work anymore, we lose to Arsenal, lose to a shit WBA, and then lose to Cardiff. He'll do doubt spout his stupid excuses again. This is just so frustrating, and anyone complaining is NOT knee jerking what so ever. The fuck can't he get the team playing on the front against a dire Cardiff side? Its clearly on the manager. People on this forum love to defend this idiot and talk about the players. They watch any other sports? No matter what happens on the field, the manager is ultimately responsible. He's not maximizing the talent we have - he needs sacking. Problem is he's attached at the hip to Ashley + Kinnear and the only way Pardew goes is when Ashley goes.
  19. That's because our league position and some results suggest that he is doing a good job. When in reality anyone that has watched us all season and the last two will easily come to the reality that we are in this position in spite of his negativity and mindless decisions. How laughable is it that we are truly shocked when he does getting right (ie against manure). It's not a good sign when that is the only game in recent memory that he got it right all the way through a game. Just like our fifth place a couple of seasons ago, we haven't got there through consistent fluid play, we have ridden our luck, been held up by goal scorers that are on form and performances that go against the way Pardew negatively sets us up. I am not naive enough to think we can go out and attack 90 mins every game and sometimes grinding out results playing ugly is a necessary part of the game. However it has been nearly four seasons and I am yet to see us look confident and flowing as an attacking unit. Despite constant assurances of Pardews love to set up attacking sides. It doesn't matter who we play we have very rarely come out of the starting blocks raring to go and hurt the opposition attacking wise. Even more rarely have we sustained that throughout a half, let alone a game. Pardew might feel his style is justified given our position now and two seasons ago. He also somehow believes that we do play a good attacking brand of football. What a sheltered football education he must have received. Facts are less and less fans will be willing to pay to watch the dross he puts out every week, moreover results won't make a big difference we are so uninspiring. Mediocrity and sustaining our position in the upper middle of the league is what Ashley clearly wants, in keeping Pardew he will likely get it. What he will also get is a huge f***ing hole in the clubs pocket because less and less people are interested in watching this utter bile Pardew calls football. Excellent post
  20. Have to follow this via BBC Sport's live updates and the twitter feeds. <anguish face>
  21. He's very settled into life here from everything I've read -- from his local lass, new baby, etc. He seems a very quiet and "normal" type person for a footballer. Just needs to work on that fucking left foot of his now

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Make the CM on the right hand side do the leg work of what Ben Arfa doesn't do and you essentially solve the problem. Sissoko has the engine to cover for Debuchy and get up the field.
  23. Lose to WBA + Debuchy ban (3 games?) + Colo out for 4-6 weeks. Ouch.
