I hope Sunderland get fucking blasted tonight and it keeps piling on that club and their weirdo manager.
  3. Which CFs are perfect for Rafa in today's game? Just curious to hear people's thoughts.
  4. Was going to say the same earlier - Ayoze v Brighton and Gayle's winner v Norwich are probably the most important. Gouffran also had a howitzer goal v can't remember and that flying volley at home too
  5. I just hope these hamstring injuries hasn't just pummeled Gayle's ability to get behind, he's looked off the pace - mind you his goal Saturday was a classic Gayle goal for us. Harsh on him, yes, but if we signed a top class 20m+ striker I wouldn't be complaining.
  6. I don't think there's much wrong with his formation, but I'm really interested to see how we look with players who can do it properly. Liverpool might not have been playing exhilarating stuff when he was there, but the football was pretty good from what I remember. I can't wait to see what changes he makes in those key positions to make it work better. Soon as they signed Torres their football was great. He was instrumental to how they played. Can't wait to see who Rafa will go for to try and replicate that. Very big ask. Yeah, i see the striker role as a critical one. Would love for us to go out and spend £30m on a striker but can't see it happening. This is why i would sell mitrovic as the funds for that transfer could go a long way for the 1 top quality striker we need. Agree would sell Mitro as well to help add to the funds for 1 top quality ST

Sunderland'a debt outstanding to a bank is not even comparable to essentially an intercompany "loan" from our owner but all good. This is another embarrassing story for that club. Hope they get relegated and never return to the top flight.
  8. Like to have Leeds back up so we can raid Fulham for Cairney
  9. Guessing different people have different viewpoints on the expectations of manager with their resources etc. For example, I've met 2 Liverpool fans today who don't rate him that highly despite what happened in Istanbul. Yet I speak with Liverpool fans are a regular basis who absolutely adore him. My perspective is that those Liverpool fans who don't rate a man who won them a CL and has personally done so much for that club and it's supporters are odd human beings.
  10. what others neesy? name some managers you think could have performed a similar job to rafa considering the absolute rot throughout the club he's CL calibre, imo without a manager of that standard we'd have been lucky with playoffs Our manager who's part of the elite managers group who met in Paris or something at the beginning of the season but he's no Monk or Wagner
  11. Agreed. If Ashley opened up the wallet and gave it a go with all that fucking money of his we'd be challenging the top end of the table and some over time with Rafa in control. No doubt whatsoever.
  12. I'm complaining about how people think Rafa is some king which you described him as earlier. He's doing about as good of a job I'd expect others with similar resources available to him to do. Btw, I've never liked the bloke so I'll always will be in the negative camp with him. I won't change that opinion but having an opposite opinion on here is never totally respected as has been seen many a time. He's the king for me, he's rebuilding our club and getting us back to the PL. you've never liked him fair enough so you're always going to be negative as fuck then. Thanks for clearing that up.
  13. sky is limit with Rafa but he'll need the total backing of our owner for us to achieve the success we deserve. Sure the football can be boring and overly cautious but as it stands we're 1st and on track for promotion. Rafa is rebuilding the club as quickly and effeciently as possible while keeping sole focus on getting back to the PL. Again, assuming we retain Rafa, worrying about this squad in the PL today is fucking stupid. We aren't up yet.
  14. Neesy, there's not a single defense of Ashley at all in the comparisons to the struggling former PL sides in this division. Your argument seems solely focused on we have spent ton of money and have highest wages so therefore we should be free and clear and promoted. No idea why you find the need to complain about every little thing all the damn time, my man. Relax.
  15. just get promoted. the squad getting overhauled is necessity and if it doesn't get heavy investment then that's our own fault. there's obviously no bad news at all if you get over the line. one step at a time.
  16. what you saying NEESY?! http://www.statto.com/sgs/team-position/ZNwYnAACAJIC5w
  17. No. It was before our game at home to Sheff Utd. Yep, 89 points then too. Damn, that was pretty much this week that year too. FFS, wonder what point total we'd have needed to be on to be auto promoted this week. Just haven't been arsed to do the math myself - anyone done it yet?
  18. Should never been in doubt where we've sat 1st in the table since Mid October, and we've held that position since then but for one time in January. Yes, he's human so naturally will get things wrong, but he's worked tirelessly - robotic even to get us and this club into the position it currently is, on the path to getting promoted.
  19. Rafa is the fucking king man, we'd be Norwich right now without him or worse.
  20. Absolutely beyond me why any of you choose to listen to the downbeat f***er. Not sure we have any other choice when it's not on tv like, it can be fun listening to Ando trying to pronounce normal words at time though Can't exactly choose when it's the only option ffs Could always choose not to listen to it. Just constantly refreshing twitter then? Notifier for Chrome. Ah that's good idea !
