All the excitement I had, deep down, opening match into hoping that HBA would get reinstated, we'd sign a striker or something and get it going - all sucked away last Monday. He's ruining the sport for me, which I'd say is the toughest thing to do - I've spent a lifetime playing and supporting a club that is 6800 km away from me, a city I've never visited. I've figured out a way to watch, listen and support this club with whatever money I've had for the better part of 15 years. Ashley, Pardew, Lee f***ing Charnley, John f***ing Irving, Joe Kinnear, all of them can seriously get bent and f*** off. It's not right, I think the PL and football governing bodies are also partly to blame for not having regulations in place to protect THE SUPPORTERS from blatant p*ss take, spiteful ownership, and no ambition. I wish I had access to football during Keegan's entire reign as manager for Newcastle. I loved seeing the Big Hits DVD and he scored what looked like the easiest damn hat trick versus Liverpool at SJP.

Everyone thinks Matuidi is now a good player just because he plays for that rampant PSG side. The guy is average, and he should have received a red card in the second round of the World Cup for trying to break Onazi's leg. To me, France always needs to have Cabaye in there - either as a CM or Deepest of the CM's but not necessarily a DM. After that it can get flexible based on the opposition: 2 out of Sissoko, Pogba and Matuidi or throw in creativity with Cabella, Grenier, etc. Would love to see a team with Valbuena & Ben Arfa on the wings, Benzema in the middle and a pick out of Matuidi/Sissoko/Pogba, Cabaye, and Cabella/Griezman/Grenier.

Right isn't it, I'm sure he's been offered right money. He just hasn't been offered the blow it out of the water type deal yet that nobody is going to pay unless the buyer is recession proof and the sport retail business has fallen apart and MA is skint. Part of me wishes he follows his dream and buys Chelsea, his true favored club. If Roman somehow got into some bother and needed to sell, I could see MA stumping to buy them and basically not touching a single thing. You know he doesn't give a single fuck about us besides the cash he makes and follows the results of Chelsea (Imo). I've said before - he could easily sell this club if he tried, there are buyers out there in all forms for sports and real estate. The fact is he isn't using an investment bank of global broker (as far as I can tell) so he's limited his pool/contacts and he'd likely want far over what is market for the club. Being he seems only interested in SD & its affiliated brands, I'd imagine he also wants it tied into the deal somehow. No chance does he allow those SD signs to be taken off unless he's getting paid handsomely for that as well. Just my guess here.

Marv or HBA could have have slotted into the team - but of course not. Couldn't make this up. Cabella is probably going to shine more in a free role, don't know if that'll equate into points. Siem is crucial to this team, clearly, but even the few times he was on the ball he was silky in his movements - would play first time balls all the time which was great to see. But overriding factor is hopefully its sealing Pardew's fate.

Southampton also got pilfered like fuck this summer and added some decent players as well. Can't wait to see us get turned over.

Argument should be more simple fellas, come on. His manager is Pardew. His manager has a history of regressing nearly every "highly rated" player he comes in contact with since his time. I'm done trying to blame any players any more with this piece of s*** in charge of the playing staff.

Premier League. If Ashley feels we'll get relegated, I think he'll sack him. That's all he's bothered about afterall! The way Ashley looks at it is he's already given him cash to spend over the summer window. He won't wanna bail him out with more cash/signings in January. Instead, he'll want a new manager in to ensure we stay up. Can see it being Pulis or something, but at this moment in time, I'd take anyone with a positive attitude towards the game of football. We won't be relegated though, there are at least 3 teams worse than us. We'll be around 10th-15th come Christmas and that'll be enough for Ashley. Absolute rubbish. Which teams will score fewer goals and concede more? Certainly no more than 3 at best. I would love to see how negative our GD will be come January. Its going to be ugly unless Pardew gets his bail money out of blinders from Krul, Colo/Janmaat, Sissoko, Cabella, De Jong and Cisse/Rivs. "Keep it tight/lucky and a bit of magic/luck" = His philosophy.

For the player he was (Souness) he's also a lovely bloke who was humbled as fuck and apologetic (to me when I spoke to him) about how things went at Newcastle in terms of results, signings, and his relationship with Shepp. I'll not forgive him for ultimately falling out with Bellamy and Robert, but I'll give him that after-the-fact, he told me to face he got it wrong there and wished things had happened differently. Pardew would never admit that in a million years, his ego is so far up there. Also, one more thing about Souness - he said this all to me in public, in front of other people, in front of his family and this was in Orlando. Takes a big man to do that. Pardew is a little egotistical chump.

When I was having a look around at the stadiums in England - it was quite cool seeing how awesomely positioned in city-centre our ground is. Fuck sake, if someone like John Henry or Mansour owned us? The entire area around it would have been transformed as much as they could - hotels, shopping, Newcastle United superstore, etc. The location of St James' Park in city centre would have a developer's mouth watering imo.

One of my favorite threads yet. Would anyone here (ideal world) be up for a new stadium to be built for Newcastle? Or would you rather significant money put in to modernize / add seats, and maybe do some exterior facade work? I know the majority will probably say the latter, but just wanted some opinions.

On page 12 they seem to be talking about loan recall - and that its possibly in January transfer window for standard season long loans. Is that true?

Isn't a there a strong movement afoot to not get rid of these? Over here in the US most major (smart) cities have historic boards who protect these and districts greatly. If you can't build within original buildings and retrofit - then you have to build to spec to make it look as authentic as ever. Many of my company's hotels are located in these districts.

Praying that AP gets sacked and the new manager who comes in doesn't allow the full transfer and sees MYM look the player he was in France and hand over the long term starting position to him the following season. Wishful fucking thinking, I know.
