The first half is the worst you've ever seen? Just regained sight after a long illness? You are a joke too Nah, you are.

    Alan Pardew

at least they have a player who can cross.
  3. Good for Ashley though. We don't count Personally don't believe the PSG thing. They're just trying to UP the price to Arsenal rumoured that Arsenal's interest already cooled down?
  4. I don't understand. Why would the club want to sell Cabaye, and drop him to prevent further injuries, just when Arsenal submitted a far-below acceptable value bids (and we rejected)? If PSG has already informed us that they are in then I understand, but as far as we know it wasn't the case before the Man City match. I don't buy the prevent injury theory because if a club wants a player they won't mind him having slight injuries. But even if this theory is correct, the timing doesn't match either. It's Arsenal man. Everyone in football industry know their bids this summer are nothing but a joke. They just randomly submit silly bids and hope any club would press the wrong button by error. I think the rumour that Cabaye thinks the bid is genuine and the club thinks it's bullshit and thus there's clash are true. I can understand why Cabaye wants to jump ships, I don't blame him for this, but i am fucking disappointed that he believes Arsenal's interest are genuine

I think the key point of what unbelievable was trying to make, and what I agree with, is that even Pardew's gone the problem would still be there, unless we got a manager who's exact fit with the players Carr recommended to our team, but thats' like drawing lots. The next manager could still have the same mismatch problem, has no say in transfer market, has to be prepared for letting key players leave, etc. The flawed set-up will always result in below par performance.
  6. why would you listen to someone that has absolutely no say in making transfer decisions? he shouldnt be asked these questions at the first place. all he could do is to bullshit. blame the one who give him the job.
  7. I honestly think he is the best manager that is willing to work under Mike Ashley.
  8. It is stupid to evaluate cabaye just by focusing on his individual performance. The whole team performs a lot better when he is on the pitch even he plays like shit. He is irreplaceable, for us, at this moment.

    Alan Pardew

He is just waiting to be sacked.
  10. it's simple, you either sack the manager, or give him money to buy the player he needs. what we are doing now is purely time-wasting. i'd rather give money to Pardew to buy players like Bent or Downing (who is at least a winger) rather than sticking with Obertan as our only winger FFS.

Our squad is fucking thin. This season is going to be a disaster. Imagine what will happen if Ben arfa or coloccini injured again FFS.

    Bafetimbi Gomis

I support Ashley on this. Anything over 7m for Gomis is fucking mental.

    Other clubs' transfers

Leffe, i understand your point, totally understand, but i will go for a sell. 3 reasons to support other than the money is insane: 1. This is also my gut feeling: i think Bale will NOT accept another season without CL. He will definitely spat his dummy out once spurs drop out of top four during the coming season, and spurs will be in a very bad position. U are assuming he would still get a 60m bid. I dont. The reason why Real Madrid wants to pay that much is because Barca bought Neymar and they need something ridiculous to make a statement this summer. In fact i dont think Real Madrid really need Bale. My estimate is 40m at best. Dont forget not much team in the world can pay fees higher than 40m. 2. I think Bale is/will be injury proned after such an overloaded season. I know this is speculation only but this happens to a lot of players who has had their best career season. Bales game heavily relies on his physical attributes which can be seriously affected any injury. Say like he couldnt run as fast as now, and everyone know his value would decrease by at least half of it. 3. I dont think spurs should continue to rely on bale like last season. Such football cannot give u a CL ticket. You think it is a good gamble, whilst i disagree. It would be much better to buy four more modric than keeping one bale. The team is more balanced and any injury to one of your key players wont be such a disaster. I also hate to think that logical because as a die hard fans you should always hope your club to keep your best players and challenge for the best. We have had that debate when Carroll fucked off to Liverpool. But then, time proves that we are correct to sell (assuming that the money brought us Cabaye and Ba and Cisse)

    Loïc Remy

I am against the signing because I don't want to sign a player that previously rejected us in 11th hour for higher pay. But I couldn't deny it would be a brilliant deal if we could get him on loan, subject to the court case results.

    Papiss Cissé

I don't either, but my point is - why are you even thinking he's bargaining for more money? You can't exclude this possibilities either, right? To be honest it is the best timing for him to do the trick - our hands are fucking tied. Ameobi starting for the coming year, we are even begging the likes of Gomis and Bent to join us ---this is the express line to championship. The timing cannot be any better for him / any worse for us.

    Papiss Cissé

Not a chance you could sack someone for refusing to champion a sponsor that went against their religious beliefs in the real world like Nah, say like you are a flight attendant but you refuse to wear the uniform on plane because of whatever personal reasons. This is definitely sack-able.

    Papiss Cissé

Ian, I am not having a dig on Cisse. I sincerely hope he get what he wants, either wearing a charity shirt, leave the club, or even back down for nothing (which I personally don't think is possible but you suggested this so...). I just don't want to support a player who use religious belief as a tool to bargain for more money.

    Papiss Cissé

I think it is an obligation that you have to work by wearing the uniform required, because you are paid. Simply as that. If you have any personal reasons and refuse to do so, normally you should be sacked. In football world we don't have this option, so the only options are to sell, or stop paying his wages till his contract expires. To be honest, if Cisse really think it's fucking sinful to wear the wonga shirt, he should hand in transfer request. And I sincerely hope he does so. I would be fucking disappointed if he agrees to back down for better monetary returns. Cunt in the highest order if that happens.

    Bafetimbi Gomis

No, but considering the alternatives are Shola and Campbell, do we have option? Pretty sure there are more forwards out there. Don't get me wrong, if we signed him I would be excited as he sounds better than our other options but I don't like this 'well he is better than we already have!' idea. I know, but it is Shola. Shola. Shola! Shola Ameobi leading the line for the coming season! Come on man this is fucking ridiculous.

No, but considering the alternatives are Shola and Campbell, do we have option?

    Papiss Cissé

Whilst Cisse "may" have his religious stand point, I fully support the club to fine him and stop paying his wages until he agrees to play or left this club.

If that's true - and frankly I don't watch French football so I can't argue - why have nearly all the French players we've brought in lack physicality? That's another reason we shouldn't be concentrating on one league. It's difficult to judge how much a player can impose himself on the game when he's up against those of similar limitations. I am not sure about the "lack of physicality" since Essien and Drogba were also from French football.
