If Ranger has Lovenkrand's movements...
-
The best timing for Ashley to sell Carroll is the 2012 summer, after Euro 2012.
-
He is not a good striker but definitely a decent forward, would be a very good partner for Carroll. He's playing out of position at Arsenal - in fact he doesn't fit in any position there.
-
Hudson, that's a gamble. If HBA shows that he can have a full recovery and play well again, very likely other clubs will offer a higher price and Marseille would have no obligation to sell him to us. The same problem goes for HBA's personal preference. If clubs like Arsenal joins the races, we must be the loser.
-
I'd rather make a loan deal for Macheda/Vela and try to make that become permanent rather than signing Gradel.
-
I can't see Ashley spending big money on January that can bring in players with starting 11 quality. The best scenario is we can make HBA's deal permanent and give the younsters (Ranger, Vukcic, Shane Ferguson, etc) a few starts and hope any of them can develop like what Carroll's did. To be honest, if Carroll's staying, we won't get relegated. This gives us a priceless period of training them up. Things will not be the same after this season when Carroll's sold...
-
He wasn't playing well yesterday. Yes he won a few header but he failed to strike the ball cleanly on goal on every occasion.
-
Fair enough. The only winger THAT WAS NOT HEAVILY CRITICISED LIKE SHIT DURING HIS TIME AT NUFC for the past 15 years is Solano. The funny thing is people will reverse their opinion once the player's sold. I am really sick of that.
-
Barton and Carroll looks very exhausted to be honest. Tiote really needs to learn to control his temper. He is just too lucky not to be sent off today.
-
Hey, hey, hey...that's the 2nd match in 3 days... I know it's ridiculous to play Smith and Perch but we have no choice aren't we?
-
Sums Jonas G up perfectly. Total waster. Actually positions himself behind opposition players so he doesn't have to accept passes. Hopefully Pardew will see through him. Would have been emptied long ago if Ben Arfa hadn't been injured. Jonas - take Shola and Lovenkrands with you through the exit door - I'll pay for the taxi - promise. I wanna point out here that the Enrique-Jonas partnership has been thoroughly studied by our opponents. Just too easy to understand - they will just pass to each other without looking for any central midfielders to mix up their play. That's the reason why you think Jonas is hiding - come on, you know Enrique is going to pass to him, Jonas is the only target, that's easy to mark.
-
His quality of crossing when sprinting pass the defenders are acceptable - that's a very difficult technique. What frustrate me most is his quality of crossing when there's lots of spaces created by Enrique's overlapping.
-
Well, luckily, the only clubs that will offer 30m+ and extremely lucrative wages for Carroll are Man City and Real Madrid, and the latter one does not prefer a player that have had legal issues. And if Carroll is stupid enough to go to Man City, let it go then.
-
He is not Bellamy that can involve in any play --- we gotta accept this. He is the one who usually get into the best scoring position, regardless playing just behind Carroll or two strikers or in central midfield with Tiote (and Barton). But by doing so, he cannot track back quick enough and that leave Tiote (and Barton) the only midfielders to defend opponent's counter attack. That's the dilemma: we can have a very "effective" Nolan by risking our defense, or we can have a "hidden" one who does not need to protect our midfield. I think what Chris and Pardew did is fair enough --- start with a prudence approach, and change the system whenever needed. We have to survive in EPL this season. If we are free from relegation, certainly we should play a lot more aggressive but that's not the case at the moment.

I know. Madness isn't it. I am all for Jonas keeping his place, but, if someone has to play instead of Jonas there, it should be Vukcic or Shane Ferguson. Routledge on the left is purely madness.
-
Routledge left? Serious?
-
That's what a proper CB should do, and Tiote should move back to cover Colo's position. Not really, just let Tiote pick up Tevez when he drops deep then we keep our shape. Well to be honest Tiote is marking Yaya Toure. I understand your point but to let Tevez turn on the ball easily and run at Colo/Saylor is extremely dangerous. Their 2nd goal is pure quality. Let it go.

He really doesn't look like a good partner for Coloccini.
-
If we have two Barton.
-
That is expected. Inevitable cost for developing Krul. While we may play Harper again next match (which is fair decision imo) we should continue to back Krul.
-
From what I have seen for the last 2 years, Jonas always perform badly at winter. He seems to have problems coping with the weather. That said, at any time, he's far more useful than Routledge. Even if he's unable to beat anyone, he can still create some play with Enrique.
-
To be fair, when he's fit, he performs quite well. The problem is he always have minor injuries that makes him unfit.
-
We have "invested" for many years waiting Barton to produce such kinda performance. To let him leave now for nuts is a fucking retarded decision. Oh no, he's leaving then.

Mike Ashley. Ashley selling up in 2016. I'm 100% convinced of this. I agree with someone's post before - we are all sentenced to jail for 5.5 years then.
