Who cares anyway The club is as good as gone, never mind WUMS
-
I hope you are correct. I mean sometimes even if your source is real, that TOP guy could be wrong that he underestimated how troublesome the fat cunt is. And in addition, I still can’t understand why the fat cunt wanted to extend Rafas contract if the deal was as good as done. It’s not his interest anymore.
-
It actually makes you wonder what was agreed between BZG and Ashley as stated in the statement early June?
-
Nah that won’t happen He should die before that
-
He’ll only sell at a price and time where he thinks he’s won. For that reason I think going down would make him less likely to sell. He would probably be even more nasty to the club if we stayed down he’d want to make it suffer forever. He will sell if we could not achieve promotion immediately after relegation. I can guarantee you this. Don’t agree. That isn’t winning for him leaving with a good cash out while leaving us in a terrible state going into a new season would be the perfect situation for him. That is why I think he’ll sell when he thinks he has won which would most likely be at the latest point of this transfer window. It would mean the new owners would have a terrible first season after having had no summer transfer window to help keep us up. Mike knows the value will start to plummet during the season and after relegation. I think he will take the cash out late this summer after making the process as painful and as destructive as humanly possible. You know what? I would take that lol as long as we can get rid of the fat cunt But no, that won’t happen. I think the key point is 1. The fat cunt wants 350m 2. He also wants longitivity control after the takeover Base on the rumours, BZG fits 1 but not 2 whilst the fat cunt was hoping other parties (e.g. Kenyon) to meet both. However, the fat cunt ignores that fact that only BZG is willing to offer 350m “now”. They have a deadline and they won’t entertain the fat cunt after the deadline. Yea if the fat cunt willing to take discount then may be possible but hell no he won’t. So either the fat cunt give up 2, or he will try to hold out till the end of transfer window (just like what you said) and then found that no parties would offer 350. He would then suddenly provide 20-30m to the new manager to spend and hope we could survive the coming season. Which obviously we won’t. We all know how bad the players we have now. We will relegate.

He would probably be even more nasty to the club if we stayed down he’d want to make it suffer forever. I don't see that playing out personally. He likes money too much. He appears pretty stretched (relatively speaking) due to his shopping spree. I think the threat of a boycott should be used to make it as difficult to appoint a decent manager as possible. Ashley and Charnley will be in a position knowing that the season is going to be toxic. We have a difficult start and they know things will only get worse once the season has started. Being in that position vs having Benitez signed on for an additional year weakens his negotiation position significantly. I guess that was why he threw a tantrum and let Rafa know through Sky sports that he was gone. If he doesn't sell there is one potential out of fourteen million, six hundred and five that could be decent for us. Ashley may want to "win" the Benitez situation. What better way than appointing someone half decent giving them the money that Benitez would never have actually seen. Then playing the "look Benitez was a t***" card. Not really. I agree most of your points but not the last one. He did that and we relegated. He won’t do that again. Half decent manager yes (lol, if there is one) but no more spending. Even the sales proceeds may not be allowed to put back to the club.

I don’t buy the support the manager not the owner / club bullshit. That line has passed. You should simply boycott and stop supporting anything related to NUFC for your own good. So unless there is a takeover, I won’t support any manager that comes in. I simply hope the club could relegate ASAP.
-
I hope you are correct. You are heading to Hero or Zero status in NO.

Whilst I agree that the other interest party should be Kenton, I think it’s a no-go. Put it simple, Kenton is exactly the type of owner that heavily relies on the quality of manager as he doesn’t have funds to strengthen the squad. The departure of Rafa is a critical hit to Kenyons plan. And if he can’t make bids now, he would not do so later too. In 6 months no one would dare to buy the club. Probably Ashley is negotiating terms with Kenyon to see if they could work out a deal that Kenyon would reimburse Ashley the summer spending later.

I want Jose Mourinho I.e. I want takeover
-
Wouldn’t want him. Think he’s a bit of a Pratt. I know, I just mean the only scenario Jose joins us will be the case of a successful takeover So the odds for both events should be the same
-
Probably we could take the odd for Mourinho as our next manager the same as the odd for the takeover?
-
I don’t think it’s only a joke. Pardew may really come back very soon if no takeover.
-
I think Rafa is surprised but not shocked. He knows Ashley won’t back down easily. Well done Rafa. I think Ashley is the one who lost the battle. Guess who wins again no longer apply unless the club can survive next season without spending ridiculous money - which is simply impossible
-
£350m is a big cow 30M per annum is a much bigger cash cow than an one off 350M
-
You properly too anger to understand what I wrote...
-
It’s got nothing to do with takeover. It’s closely related to the takeover. If takeover is imminent then why would Ashley care about the terms after the sales? The contract negotiation itself implies the club will not be sold.
-
I have had a second thought: may be this was the last obstacle for the takeover, and now we will be sold very soon There was always one big question in my mind throughout the takeover: why would Ashley sell us if Rafa is here? Rafa has been performing magic and able to give Ashley minimum 30m (rough figure) profit per year. You may not grasp how significant it is but I can tell you assuming the club is worth 350m, it’s close to 8.5% return per year (and excluding the advertisement) which is f***ing attractive. Newcastle United is close to a cash cow under Rafa. No businessmen will sell such a cash cow unless other party offered astronomical money. We all know that a big reason for Ashley to sell the club was because if Rafa left, the cash cow status will be gone and he needs to provide a lot of new funds for the new manager to improve the squad. So it’s a great timing to cash in and quit, hence the BZG story. In other words, why would Ashley sell the club if Rafa is willing to stay and help to generate 30m per year into his pocket? And if the club was to be sold shortly, the new contract was meaningless because surely BZG will negotiate with Rafa separately in relation to the working condition between Rafa and BZG. Those terms (50m all inclusive per year etc) only applies when the club was not sold. So to me, the negoatiation of the new contract itself always contradicts with the news that Ashley has agreed to sell the club to BZG. Hence I always ignore these news. However, the statement issued by the club today suggested otherwise. It’s real that the negotiation was carried between Ashley and Rafa, which means the club would not be sold to BZG shortly. However, again this contradicts with the statement issued by BZG, which claimed that the price has been agreed between BZG and Ashley. So what was Ashley doing? On one hand agreed the price with BZG and on the other hand persuading Rafa to stay and work on his own terms (I.e. the club will not be sold)? The only logical explanation I can think of now is, Ashley priority was to retain Rafa / the cash cow status (the terms offered would still generate huge profit to Ashley, I guarantee you this). The BZG takeover was the plan B in case Rafa decided to quit. Which is, Ashley has agreed the price with BZG but he would not finalise the deal until his first priority is gone. This was also in line with recent development of the BZG story. After the proper test no more news has come out and it appears to be hold up by someone till now. Hopefully the club will be sold shortly now as Ashley’s first priority has gone. And again, thanks Rafa.
-
The takeover won’t happen now. Crystal clear imo.
-
Rafas departure basically confirms that the takeover is dead. Just think, if the takeover is imminent, why would Rafa and Ashley truely engage in contract talks? The contract would void or become meaningless once the owner becomes BZG. Who cares about the 50m budget if the owner is not Ashley? In other words, if the contract terms is serious, that means Rafa expected that the takeover would not go through. Or may be, it simply won’t happen as long as Rafa stays. Fucking devastated. That’s also the end of me as a black and white.
-
Happy for Rafa. Thanks for your work and best wishes for your next job. You deserve a much better club. Devastated not because of losing Rafa but this kinda confirmed the takeover has collapsed.
-
I can’t get it, may be I missed something How could it be possible that the EPL proper test was carried out before the price / payment method / sales itself has been agreed?
-
Both will be gone.

Muto probably “too old”. This team is for testing the young talents for Qatar 2022. Lots of U23 players. Their starting striker is a 20 years old university student. That said, the “Japanese Messi” is really impressive. Kubo Takefusa.
