Muto started the last two games tbf. How is Joselu the first choice? Oh, and Rondon is injured. Atsu cost £6.2m. Merino didn't get back in the team following his injury because he lost his form and Diame was playing so well, then he wanted to leave. What could Rafa do about that? Actually, I could easily argue against every point you make there. Rafa bought players for the championship who are still here, because we can't sell them, either because we can't replace them, the wages are too high (nothing to do with Rafa) or nobody else wants them. Muto is not a striker who can play upfront alone. He is simply not that type of player, especially when we play so many long ball. Atsu cost us 10m in total including the loan fees. Merinos problem is about the clause. Basically, he joined us on a condition that he could move on as long as any team would pay the amount we paid to Dortmund. Now tell me what's the point of this deal then? The player plays well - left within a year and we got nothing. The player plays shit - we got a deadwood in our squad. And yea if Merino enjoys life here what should you do? Give him faith and ask him to sign another contract to change the clause. And no, Rafa didn't give him faith after his injury and so that's it. Of course Merino would leave. And of course we would get nothing left behind. Now tell me what's the point of getting him at the first place, and why handle the situation like that given our only way out is to pursuade him to sign another contract? Yea I agree Diame deserves the starting spot but for teams development you should play Merino instead, especially after our safety was guaranteed. For the last point, yea if what we get is that shit and can't move on then what's the point of bringing in other shits that can't replace them and make a change to our team? Yea you got it fucking spot on. The likes of Ki Schar or even Muto do looks like the new deadwoods in the making. Never mind Joselu Ritchie Hayden Manquillo etc.

I don't blame Rafa for settling for 4th 5th or 6th choices but I genuinely didnt feel that Rafa really has a plan to play or incorporate that player into our team. His handling of Murphy and in a way Muto are highly questionable imo. The likes of Gamez Ki who cost nothing okay fine I could accept them being number fillers. But Murphy and Muto who costs us 10m should at least be a player that should bring changes to our team right? No, Ritchie is still the automatic starter despite not up to EPL standard and Joselu is 5m striker is still his preferred choice. Perez is still the only no.10 since Rafa has no plan to play Muto there. Atsu who costs us 10m total is basically non-existent. Manquillo is still the only backup for both side backs. We do have lots of choices at centre back but then why do we need to bring in Fernandez when Clark is still there? First choice Lascelles Lejuene with Schar Clark as backup is more than enough. Of coz Fernandez looks a great signing which Rafa deserves credit but wait a minute is that means Clark or Schar is going to get close to zero minutes this coming season? Is this Rafa's plan? Never mind the strange Merino deal and all the issues regarding the sale of Mitrovic. I genuinely don't agree with a lot of his decisions regarding transfer. Rafa has done an excellent job in making wonders out of a bunch of shits and no way he should be sacked or responsible for the whole disaster created by the fat cunt. But I am really not a fan of Rafa when it comes to transfers.

To be honest, I am not a fan of "buying for numbers". I know we needs cover but the likes of Gamaz Lazaar Blackburn captain etc really make me wonder why. Not saying Rafa deserves the treatment but just I don't quite agree with his transfer decisions.
-
We should feel happy for Rafa
-
I think he simply wanna gamble by doing so the team "will get fired up" and successfully avoid relegation without any more penny spent on January.
-
Source of funding. In short, the fat cunt took out the money from us and purchased HoF, and "very likely" he treated this as a new loan to Sports Direct.
-
I think that's fair result. Man Utd just being exceptionally bad in 1st half and exceptionally good in 2nd half. We played well, deserve the result due to difference in players quality.
-
I don't think a players meeting is something nice under Rafa.
-
I think the question should be why he decided to spend the money in this way. It is not a question that 1. He being fucked up by the fat cunt 2. He shouldn't be responsible for buying his 27th choice etc. However assuming that what he spent was what he have and he has "the right to choose", then I think it is valid to question why pay 10m for bench warmers.

I am missing Leon Best
-
I think this is legit. In fact Staveley one was also legit. Just "couldn't agree the price".
-
Loser will get sacked

He isn't rough. His ball control is more than decent. If you really pay attention to his ball control and build up plays you should notice he actually contributes a lot to the team even outside the penalty area. He is getting the basics right, for a target man.
-
I genuinely don't think we would play better football (or more entertaining football to be precise) if Rafa is backed. You are talking about something that he has never done throughout his career, no matter in Valencia and Liverpool.
-
Sir Bobby Robson is better. Rafa isn't too faraway though. Just my opinion. Look back the pressing tactics deployed by Sir Bobby, despite having an aging Shearer and the pairs of Obrien and Dabizas, were pure magical stuff. I know Rafa is excellent at forming a solid defense even if the players are shit but that's in expense of our attacking abilities and the quality of the match. That's the thing he can never catch Sr Bobby imo. We had been Klopps Liverpool about 20 years ago.
-
he sanctioned the deal because he needs to maximize Newcastle's profit asap.
-
he should be dropped. We have Muto who appear to be in better shape. no excuse to keep Perez in our starting eleven.
-
We just need a goal to start a terrible shitstorm.
-
So the accusation that he didn't get into decent position is rubbished.
-
I thought both Milano have been sold recently?
-
"Rafa is always right" is different from "Rafa makes mistakes but he is absolutely blameless". What I see is some posters simply point out what Rafa did wrong and then immediately get rinsed for "how dare you criticise Rafa". He always got my support doesn't I mean I can agree with starting Hayden for the last game. I could never understand nor agree with this decision.

It's nearly two months into the season now, you would like to think someone like Muto can offer a bit more than Perez or Joselu. They might press the defenders as per Rafa's instructions, but they just don't offer enough threat in the penalty area. Bearing in mind most of them didn't really get a pre-season with us it doesn't surprise me in the least. They may be better players who can offer more individually but Rafa's all about the collective. He probably wants to have coached them for longer, hence all his comments at the beginning of the window about getting players in ASAP. So is Murphy "settled" now?
-
If Rafa doesn't want to play a player, you should take him away from the equation. Aarons, Mitrovic, Lazaar, Mbemba, in a way Gamaz etc. So in this perspective the number of players that we "would" and "could" play definitely improves. Our squad massively overachieved last season imo. Merino didn't play much in our 2nd half of the season and it's Shelvey Diame and Perez trio that really shined in our midfield. I ain't that concerned about the results so far. Any point is a bonus. What I concern is the signings. I don't understand why but it seems Rafa doesn't trust them.

We are stronger in terms of squad depth but our starting eleven is more or less the same.
