  1. Wouldnt pay £1.8m after seeing him a few times time season Aye that's it... judge him on those few appearances
  2. Winning the attendances despite the football and players being turd is a real and important thing in football tbh.
  3. 30m total with wages? does that even cover the prize money you get for winning the league? not that money is everything like, i just find it an interest attitude that such an expensive short-term signing is deemed 100% justified when you may be lumbered with his wages for years and no trophies to keep you warm at night Tbf without RVP, they definitely don't finish in the CL spots. Get him fit and they have a chance. You've spent too much time under MA's stewardship.
  4. Defensively it's their biggest weakness. Some top teams are punishing them in wide areas.
  5. Ozil's played wide a few times too
  6. Same here. They were clearly lying about wanting English players - young French players that are as cheap as chips will continue to be the plan. We are looking for undervalued players. Ince should be one but we are certain under-valued players are only in France.
  7. Yeah the biggest issue with Cazorla/Ozil in the same side is a lack of athleticism. Both are pretty quick but stamina? Very poor.
  8. Ozil does less sprinting and he's also knackered early on. Rooney's consistently played 90 minutes throughout his career. Was rare for Ozil to get more than 70 minutes at Madrid.
  9. I would swap Pardew with any decent manager that takes cups seriously. Won't happen under MA anyway.
  10. In top level international/european football Ozil's subtle brilliance is probably makes him the better player. In the rush and tumble of the PL, Rooney's definitely the better #10. For starters he's far more prolific and has much better stamina.
  11. The team nor Moyes is as bad as they are showing imo
  12. Everton haven't played that bad for a number of yeas. in the last couple of seasons Everton looked strong, fast and played at a good pace.
  13. Cleverley surely not as bad as he's been playing. He was lucky to get 70 minutes today. Fucking horrendous.
  14. Both. He extracted the total he could out of this side but he knew they were getting by via his synergy.
  15. so one paced this side. Move the ball so slowly. No guile. Fucking horrendous. Look like NUFC ffs
  16. They've looked like shit tbf... again.
  17. Hernandez can't even get a game now...
  18. Yesterday could turn out to be a very bad result for sunderland if Moyes gets any reaction from them. Under Ferguson you could just wait for a Sunderland trashing. Not too sure now. Duno so much, Fergie always seemed to play a (relatively) weak side against Sunderland, proper irked me Aye, Ferguson loved playing against the Spurs, Aston Villa's & Newcastle's. Strongest side 90% of the time, especially away. S'land? Not so much.
  19. tactically, Simeone is someone I think Pardew should aspire to replicate in many ways. Likes to play it tight and compact. Not a lot of width, lethal strikers. Likes 2 up top. Not obsessed with possession.
  20. Aye if he concentrated and gave it his all he would make a decent career for himself.
  21. Aye? Those quotes from Sullivan were on Football Focus sometime in December. Not long ago at all.
