I’ve said a lot it was Ashworths plan to selll him and it would’ve been a smart play. BUT without big Joe we don’t achieve what we did last season. Also tbh I think Woltemade might be more of a second striker in a Howe system. Howe wants a direct runner in behind imo

I don’t think we need a creative central player necessarily. We just need more football in the team even if it’s a similar profile. Just as examples Anderson for Joelinton, Mbeumo for Murphy/Elanga, Hall for Burn- none of these players are super technicians or creative but it raises the entire level of the team. Much more likely to beat a press, can hold the ball. Half a side of: Pope Krafth Burn at LB Joelinton Murphy Holds us back way too much. We could carry one or two but not the 5. We don’t need a revolution but solid level up from this. From the little I’ve seen of Ramsey he doesn’t offer much and is an extremely safe and sideways or back passer.
