It’s painful seeing him like this. Your new big money signing and simple 5 yard passes he’s doing it shin height. Won’t try and take on his man. It’s sad to see
-
Just seen 19 appearances in the league in a row 0 goals 0 assists 2 red cards Thats abject man

You also have to decide who you ride until the wheels fall off. Joelinton was never that candidate. Bruno might be. I’ve said a lot it was Ashworths plan to selll him and it would’ve been a smart play. BUT without big Joe we don’t achieve what we did last season. But we would be better placed going forward in the position.

Also tbh I think Woltemade might be more of a second striker in a Howe system. Howe wants a direct runner in behind imo -

I don’t think we need a creative central player necessarily. We just need more football in the team even if it’s a similar profile. Just as examples Anderson for Joelinton, Mbeumo for Murphy/Elanga, Hall for Burn- none of these players are super technicians or creative but it raises the entire level of the team. Much more likely to beat a press, can hold the ball. Half a side of: Pope Krafth Burn at LB Joelinton Murphy Holds us back way too much. We could carry one or two but not the 5. We don’t need a revolution but solid level up from this. From the little I’ve seen of Ramsey he doesn’t offer much and is an extremely safe and sideways or back passer. -

Loads better on the ball than Joelinton -
It’s press or sit deep and fight for us away from home. The passive shit isn’t a tactic and doesn’t work
-
That was so bad. Not inly did he give the ball away he was next to Bowen for a split second and just let him run off. It’s so bad.
-
Not sure about this. It’s hard to press with our fullback options.
-
Nearly everyone I know raised an eyebrow at the Elanga fee. He’s not over rated by most.
-
Today we didn’t even try to be physical and press.
-
This wasn’t a low block issue. We lost the fight. If we competed better at 1-0 we win it 1-0.
-
I prefer DB atm at CB.
-
A big part of his ups and downs is his position and just not being that good.
-
I don’t want to sell him. But he’s not an automatic starter in my book. Whoever is looking better in training or form should get the nod.
-
People keep saying this. Who is going to buy him for that money? He’s not good enough.
-
He didn’t have the running on AWB and that was him done. Didn’t offer anything else positive. Had time for lazy passing and a lack of effort.
-
By far the one who swings back and forth greatly in terms of effort

Not just the lack of football today. We play primarily because we lacked fight and aggression.
-
I’m scared this is true. I look at us and often think we need more football. I want Wissa back and to stop Joelinton and go 4231 with Wolte off Wissa. Get Wolte close to Bruno with the ability to run off the back off him.
-
Nah when all the players are shit it’s the managers fault. It’s his job to prepare and motivate them. If they all look unprepared and unmotivated the manager hasn’t done his job.
-
Yep. Cup team good. Too many average players to be anywhere near challenging.
-
Really needed to lighten the burden of progression and creation this season on him. Woltemade was a half step there

Tad unfair on Wissa. He produced at an elite level last season. The same isn’t true of the other 2.
