He showed at AC he’s got a massive Rick in him. He dropped a rick in his last appearance. But today he was flawless from what I saw Credit where it’s due. If he plays the season like this - great - those rick were overstated or he’s developed.

Botman gave Merino the free header tbf. But he was largely excellent aye. Thiaw was flawless from what i saw pretty much.

Thought he was excellent. Good game las. Keep that up.

Said this before - he has a ‘I get it’ persona but he often goes to sleep or is slow to react when it matters. Joe and Bruno lay on the crowd pleasing thick. But they are diligent to their tasks. Even Murphy doesn’t have bluster but he sticks to his tasks very well. Gordon doesn’t.

Was hoping he would start today. then I was hoping he would be a menace off the bench. I’ll admit. I’ve never loved his profile. But his touch and close control, I don’t love it man. None of our wingers look like they can jink around a fullback.

It was a lot of that in the CL season. Get an early goal and defend for our lives. we need a way to relieve pressure. Especially playing so many games we are likely to tire.

Aye. I don’t mind when we look sharp on the counter. But today was just defend defend defend. we looked well short of the level from what I saw today. I think we are in for a super defensive season. Arsenal are one of the best teams in the league and needed goals from big lads - which we’ll win 90% of those. Tough. Felt like we needed a result there.

Didn’t watch the first half. Can see he’s getting stick. Tbf for the entire second half we didn’t have a single passing phase or decent momentum. Cant expect much if the attackers playing like that. Gordon wasn’t good and was probably the weakest of the front 3 but they didn’t have much to work with.

I love Pope but he can lose his nerve. The punch doesn’t happen without the Miskick. Tough on him and all of us.

Praying he’s ok. Would take those 0 points if it meant Tino was book quick ish. I mean there’s nothing I can do about the point but we need Tino man.

Dirty push by Saliba but not the worst. Tino landed awkwardly but fairly innocuously and immediately reacted badly. Had a such a bad look on his face immediately. Not massive pain but like ‘yeh this is bad man’.
