  1. Russia are banned. But a genocidal country literally not in or close to Europe is all-in.
  2. Unless Ange changes styles - Forest are going to get smoked out of their boots I can see him not lasting the season
  3. Owen clearly didn't want to come in the first place and always gave that attitude. Isak has a cold demeanour (he's maintained this in his Liverpool interview), but he was all in at points for us, definitely. That ending will raise question marks for sure.
  4. That isn't far is it. His passing stats will go up mind.
  5. I think the PL will pursue a "shutup or lawyer up" strategy. Said it before - nothing we've done post takeover suggests we'll lawyer up.
  6. The passing thing is definitely Forest style of play. All of our players are similar btw,
  7. He's not coming back imo. Not next summer or even after Forest but I hope i'm wrong. I would buy him back for £60m but I am sentimental, think there's added value in performance with HG players and it's worth it as a HG European spot.
  8. @Kid Icarus how comes you don't rate Nuno? He's had 5 or 6 top 8 finishes in the PL - a bit of a Portuguese David Moyes imo. Wouldn't want him here but he's a good hire for a West Ham, Forest, Wolves etc.
  9. it's the equivalent of 20 full matches which I would class as solid game time for a teenager at this level. Through injury or selection, most people feel that Anderson didn't get enough game time to develop at Newcastle at any point. He never got close to 1800 minutes for us. Last season alone he clocked 3k minutes. That's more experience than he got in 2-3 years at Newcastle post Brsistol.
  10. It’s going to be Ange and I need to get the Forest defenders out my FPL team
  11. With Nick W ability to play 10. Howe having 3 CBs he trusts to play a back 5. I don’t see Miley getting the 1800 minutes he needs to kick on
  12. Same as this season. Barely any midfield cover. Willock was out at the start of the season or coming back from injury and Sandro was banned for the first few months. He barely got a kick.
  13. Think the boy is very talented and could go far. I just don’t think he’s ready for a serious squad role at this point and he would benefit from going out on loan. Plodder is far too harsh. To play well in a Howe team he does need more aggression than he tends to play with both on and off the ball.
  14. Ours requires some physical graft like in the 433. No ten. Wingers wide as owt often. It’s a tough shift. Ton of pressing.
  15. I will say the top 6 have no reason to vote for a closed shop or similar rules. They are never getting relegated. It’s the likes of Palace and Bournemouth getting American majority investors that’s the real problem
  16. If I was them, I wouldn’t be petrified. Our owners will do the easy stuff for us. Anything difficult they won’t try. They just need some type of barrier.
  17. Swap Amanda and Eddie Howe - I hope you see how this doesn't make sense. She was forced to leave. She needs to do the best she can elsewhere.
  18. Aye. She seemed all-in when she was here and that's that.
  19. Exactly. It's worked out. We have a trophy and CL football and I don't think that happens without Big Joe. I'll take it and all the consequences. But I see the vision Ashworth had. His job was to look after the medium/long-term of the club and selling Big Joe at peak value would've helped that. I personally think we should focus on the short term anyway. B2B CL campaigns and such. Our transfer approach has aligned with that by signing mostly PL players and players 22-25. We aren't spending a decent wedge on kids that need development in the main. I always thought Hall was an Ashworth-led signing. I didn't think Hall would nail down a starting spot that season and that whole situation cost us some points and Europe imo. But that's paid off in the medium term already. We've picked our poison this summer anyway. One thing about signing athletic players is that their peaks are usually earlier in their careers. We do have to time their sales smartly.
  20. How much of that is down to the leadership/owner? He owns multiple clubs and has regular shady dealings with others. Out ownership is slow. Can't see them sanctioning so much action over sustained windows. Don't think Eddie loves it either.
  21. Lauryn Hill actually got all of her flowers in her pomp though. It would be more apt for HBA had a Ballon D'Or.
