Doesn't really matter. Everton have more trophies than us. They've only ever spent 2 seasons below the top flight. There's an argument to be made that they are a bigger club than us. I don't buy it but there's an argument. There's no argument for Sunderland being bigger than us. It's like calling Atletico "Madrid Mackems". It's dumb. Everton is a gigantic football club with lots of history and is very obviously a Premier League club. Will be funny to see them down, and the team currently deserves it.

The Europeometer™ (2024/25) - NUFC Qualify for Champions League

Would rather go as deep as we can. Just get out of the group. Same vibes as in FM when you overachieve and don't have the squad to win the CL. Just get out of the group and qualify for it again. I genuinely think we'll back in the CL within a few years anyway. Determined not to treat it like we're tourists. We're home now baby. -
Calling them Scouse Mackems doesn't work. Everton are as successful as us - if not more. I like the people of Liverpool a lot. I like em far more than a routinely Tory town like Bournemouth or something. Goodison Park is an iconic English stadium too. The club Everton - yeh it would be funny to see them down. But it's not personal for me at all.

Does the rest of the world think this is equally as despicable? I don't understand why la liga isn't taking the necessary steps. It's surely an awful look, even if they don't actually care. It's a stain on their league, and they've contributed to it becoming worse.

No. If we lose the next two our GD is only better by +5 at best. -

Not to be 100%. They need to lose for us to qualify without kicking a ball. -

I was a massive critic but he’s converted me through performance, application and attitude. Top lad. His actual ability is limited. But his physical capacity is brilliant and his application is great. Official cult hero. -
Burn barely kept the lad onside. It wasn’t obvious in the first replay. It wasn’t obvious to Schar.
-
Who thought of it as less foreign players?
-
I disagree with that. You are rarely going to be sure where your LB is if you play RCB. If no attacker is near you and you are a fullback, you shouldn't be playing anyone onside. The only way I would blame Schar is if he came charging out and nobody else followed. But it was just BDB sleeping again. He's prone to that. But was superb on the night otherwise.
-
?? He and Trippier were in a line playing the lad offside. Burn was sleeping - as he does.

Anderson needs to go out on loan, man. The 7th man needs to be (a) ideally someone that can play elsewhere (b) an old-timer happy with reduced minutes (c) a pup happy with reduced minutes or (d) a player on relatively low wages or someone on loan that is happy to be emergency back-up. Not every player needs to come in straight into the first team. If we get a CF they will be along the same profile as a 3rd CM. Isak & Wilson will be our main men.
-
Man U have 5 for 2 positions in midfield.
-
2 as a minimum. Id bring in a promising teenager if possible as well. Or if we have Maddison that’s ok, he can play at 8 if really needed. We need someone as emergency backup. Arsenal have Elneny. Liverpool had that Bajetcic kid or the Juve loanee and they both struggled with Europe when injuries came. We have nothing.

English teams don't tend to win Europa. In the last 25 years, Chelsea have won it twice, Liverpool won it maybe 20+ years ago under Houllier, and Mourinho won it with Man Utd. That's it. 4 Champions in 25 years. Sevilla have won it 6 times in that time alone. Real have won the CL that many times in the time period if not more. -

Was he the dude that played the CBs for Burn playing the striker onside?
