Gallagher and Lavia. I wouldn’t be mad at that.

The Europeometer™ (2024/25) - NUFC Qualify for Champions League
The College Dropout replied to Rich's topic in Football
I like Liverpool the place and the people tbh. I like a lot of what Liverpool FC stand for. But I dislike Klopp and the team. Based on this season I would love for them to fall short. But I typically dislike Man Utd more. -
We need two CMs minimum.
-
Aye but the rest don’t play. Getting rid of them is inevitable aye but we won’t generate much in revenue. Only 1 or 2 playing squad members Will be sold imo.
-
We have a small squad though. And I don’t expect an overhaul of a team that will have finished 3rd. We’ll sell as many wingers as we sign. Probably 1. We could sign 2 midfielders and let Anderson go out on loan. We could sign a CB and LB. And not lose anyone with significant game time (sorry Targett). And a proper backup GK.

Laughing at someone saying it was 50/50 for us to qualify for the CL yesterday. MATCH POINT BABY. -
One good thing about having a small squad this season - is we will only sell 1, maybe 2 players that have had decent minutes. Like a Winger. Everyone else who got us here will stay and have opportunities to play. Love that for them.

Leon Bailey had better G/A in the Bundesliga. I trust that league less than Ligue 1.
-
Would prefer Gallagher to Tierney.
-
Aye the goal was just down to a Burn lapse in concentration which happens.

Newcastle United 4-1 Brighton & Hove Albion (18/05/2023)

Absolutely stank. -
I thought Schar did the same thing with Welbeck often in the first half. brifhton have this tactic of overloading the middle. Striker drops deep. Wingers invert. Fullbacks push-up. So there’s 5-6 players up against a defensive line of 4/5.

Such a great team man. Love these boys. Like Burn, Wilson and Almiron are two of the most ‘replaceable’ players in the starting XI. Yet they won us the game. -

For a full 90 minutes too. At the end of a long season. 90th minute. Pushes it past a man 10 years his junior and does him for pace and stamina. Crazy. -
Aye. The press was perfect for most of the match. WE sat back when we needed too. CBs aggressive a lot.

He played Caicedo RB against Arsenal or Man U i'm sure. Unless injured - it's the decision to bench Colwil that didn't make sense. The young lad isn't good enough on the ball for that game plan. -
Don’t think he even got a yellow card did he? Kicked the shit out of them.

Once they get it into midfield they look dangerous but they knock it around the GK and defenders loads. -
Commanding tonight.

Hate it for him.
