There are hundreds of ethnicities and languages and thousands of cultural identities across the continent of Africa. But Yaya sees them as all the same ‘outgroup’ more similar to one another than to (equally diverse) colleagues from other continents. Not sure it is Pep who needs to reflect on his attitudes. Lolwut?

Better than that as his team actually won and both actions were sly. Neither even flagged as fouls. The Karius one is just as likely a penalty shout as a red card. Both totally avoidable too but not enough to make him negligible.

Explain.....

£30m is way too low. £60m seems too high as well. But in any case, we shouldn't sell unless it is in the £60m range. Where we could sign 2 players that we think are really good. But that's a risk not worth taking. It's so hard to replace good players man. And doubly true for good leaders. I can't see Lascelles banging on Rafa's door to ask for him to be allowed to join Everton either so there's no logic there. We are on the gravy train. Have a low wage bill. Let's get this cunt Ashley out of our club so we can attack this league.

Just thinking about all the times i've been right about a player but received stick for the opinions. Until eventually, the truth was too strong to deny Coloccini - pap more often than not Cisse - a sometime decent poacher, massive purple patch... mostly pap. Demba was the better player. Anita - unbelievably pap Paully D - can actually defend (when not diving into stupid challenges) #thecollegedropoutwasright

I think he's worth more £40m But in any case. We sell him and I reckon Rafa leaves. Lascelles is integral to our project imo.

The most important person at a football club is the Owner/person controlling the wider company and setting the objectives and strategy. Levy’s been the mastermind of Spurs ascent where Kroenke is at fault for Arsenal’s demise. -

I don’t mean inexperienced. I mean moreso ‘the hot manager’. The Tuchels. Conte. Sarri is the same age as Rafa but I reckon he’s more likely to land a top job than Rafa. Spurs and Liverpool imo won’t go for him. Arsenal probably should’ve went for him. I don’t class hem as a top team anymore. -

Think Rafa’s time at the bigger clubs might be over as a full-time manager. The trend is the exciting young manager. It’s when those don’t work midseason, where 18 month contracts for Rafa I might be scared of. -
Football had so many phrases like that, that nobody ever fully defines. It just becomes a part of the vocabulary and used in the same contexts. Game management is something that has become popular to say in the game but I’m not certain what it actually means. It’s used in the context of teams in the lead seeing games out. But I take it for how well teams manage the ebbs and flows of a football game.

We can only dream of winning the Champions League being described as a poor season Their cup and league campaigns have been remarkably poor. Had he not won the CL he'd been sacked. This way he gets to leave on top. I don’t think this is true at all. Getting to the final was a big achievement. Anything less than an embarrassing defeat by Liverpool and they wouldn’t have sacked him. -

New manager could persuade Bale to stay. Zidane was the issue with Bale. Ronaldo - I don’t think is serious. Just wants attention. -
I said current squad. Joeyt's has the current squad except for VVD (Keita & Fabinho too) which shows Liverpool's squad is more expensive. Your stats would include the likes of Benteke, Morata (re-signed) and James who have been bought and sold within that time period or at least are not in the squad at all.
-
I couldn’t find the page where I saw it. It was a small margin but one nonetheless. Joeyt’s link proves the point though. Coutinho cost €12m for Liverpool or so. Van Dijk cost €100m (I guess). That €80m would put Liverpool in the lead comfortably. Now I’m certain the Real wage bill could be much higher but the point stands based on that article.
-
Although I’m not looking forward to English clubs dominating the CL. Liverpool’s squad was already more expensive than Real’s. In a couple years they may end up significantly more expensive.
-
Aye. Earn some major coin. Fill out the medal cabinet.
-
As long as Ashley’s around i’ll Not concern myself with how top 6 teams strengthen. We are looking at 8th - tops. I’m teems of ambition from the top.
-
No way where Liverpool the better team after Salah went off. Liverpool looked dangerous from corners and Mane. That was it. From the injury Marcelo basically went to left wing, left Ramos by himself and they caused Liverpool big problems. Bale scores 63rd minutes. Karius throws it In the net 87. I don’t think Liverpool had a single chance in that period.
-
Being Raheem Sterling, it doesn’t seem like the wisest moves. But considering that sink was front page news, Seemingly he’s gone the ‘fuck it’ route. The Sun: Raheem Sterling. Greedy bling boy buying expensive tat. Also The Sun: Raheem Sterling. Cheap bastard extraordinaire.
-
Like the lad. It’s a shame because I reckon he could be a very good PL or international level player. I wonder what his attitude is like.
-
They’ve had it in for Raheem as soon as he mad noise about wanting out of Liverpool he’s been targeted. Don’t know how he handles it internally. But he posted a funny Instagram post with him and Delph with the snake and plane emoji some time ago which made me chuckle.
-
Agreed. Never rated the lad much as a defender. Weak defenders who are poor in the air and don’t anticipate danger irk me a lot. Seemed a nice lad. Hope his career goes well.
-
For their roles Milner and Henderson are very good. AOC and a fully fit Lallana also very good. Being able to press 90 minutes and good at quick transitions seem key to Klopp teams - pace and explosiveness in midfield. It’s ya lad Wijnaldum that’s a let down. Also AOC and Lallana are injury prone. Creativity is lost.
