  1. That worked. And he didn't hold it up much either. Would win headers that went nowehre. That's it.
  2. Wrong decisions are worse for the game when we have the ability to get them right. The game already feels corrupt let alone choosing to get factual decisions down to human error.
  3. Ok so it did send us down
  4. The offsides now are markedly more accurate, though. 97% to 99.1% is a massive increase considering how often offsides could be potentially flagged. There's no serious argument about removing it entirely. "Gaining advantage" makes it more confusing and liable for interpretation.
  5. It was the first goal in a 0-2 loss no? Without that goal we have a chance to win that game.
  6. It's more football and athletic capacity than we've been playing with all season.
  7. No it won't. I don't see an easy way to make the rule better. Day light doesn't help. This is better than pre-VAR mind. Remember the Aguero goal we conceded when we lost to City that ultimately sent us down?
  8. I agree with this. Spurs have become a crap version of Chelsea. In terms of becoming extremely corporate and a bit cold and sterile. Chelsea made it succeed by Having great players and a previous owner that cared and demanded victory. This young b-tech version has no leadership on the pitch and seemingly in the boardroom.
  9. I think there’s a rot at Spurs. These aren’t bad players or terrible human beings Frank is not a bad manager. There’s something Man U-esque about Spurs that’s rotten. I personally think a lot of the soul has been taken out the club. It feels that way to me. The team has injuries yes but it’s also too young, not enough local players. The fact they want to be known as Spurs and not Tottenham is a sign of the soul disappearing imo. Want to detach the clubs image from the local area.
  10. Glad he’s starting to show his ability more and more. It’s always been clear he has ability. But didn’t impact games. Today he started doing that and I thought he was good against PSG first half too. He has something to work with.
  11. I thought we were going to be more willing to play a 10 like player.
  12. I don’t see a long term future with Nick as a 9 under Howe. He can be a success in a more withdrawn role. But as the primary 9? I’m losing hope.
  13. Howe’s comments. Yeh Nick might be done here.
  14. Howe is sick of this lad too huh? Behind Osula in the pecking order. Should be embarrassed.
  15. Interesting that he came on in midfield. Howe given up on him as a 9?
  16. Thought his hustle was good. Showed some dark arts. Slack on the ball as per but not a lot of options.
  17. Good interview after. Seems a determined lad. Bern calling him Jermaine Jenas refer but hopefully he has more steel about him.
  18. Delighted for him. A lot of emotion in that goal. Well done lad.
  19. Is that a second yellow? No attempt to ply the ball?
