I’m the opposite end I quite like Smalling for no reason. I think it’s the voice. And despite playing for Man United for ages he always seems a tad nervous. James Milner seem a solid fella. N’golo Kante. Vardy could easily be dislikable but I like him too.

Why? Type of player when he receives the ball 1v1 with the fullback the crowd immediately get to their feet. He’s an entertaining attacking footballer. I like those types of players. Nothing influences a football game more than goals. Salah scores the first Liverpool goals in the CL QF. 1 start the hammering. The second to essentially kill the game. His influence was decisive. 6 weeks ago I would agree KDB > Salah this season. But KDB’s level has dropped a bit whole if anything Salah has gotten better. He’s the undeniable player of the season imo. More than the number of goals. Ronaldo’s ability to score in big moments has taken him to another level of greatness.

It was common belief 4 moths ago that he was a 60 minute player at best. Now I’m the 90th minute he’s still going strong. Absolutely tremendous at sniffing out trouble. Intercepting. That last one, saw the attacker run and just picked it up - got in his way and makes sure it runs out. Whole crowd applauds.
