Wilpou for the win. Have looked good together. Always said he and Colo have too many of the same weaknesses to be a good partnership. The Wilpou tandem has looked much better.

Matthieu Debuchy has been playing like brave heart for what seems like a month. He's learning you have to be a tough bugger in this league and he's adapting very well. Think it's made a massive difference not having HBA in front of him. The one time where someone jumped over Debuchy Siss took over and made the tackle. That wouldn't happen with HBA Only negative is that he always looks like he'll get a yellow.

His last few appearances then. Was very good against City too.

Before today, I would say what Cabaye has over Anita is the final ball/goals. He's much better in general possession is Anita. He showed today he can use his mobility very well in the final third too. Previously wasn't sold on Anita at all. But over these last few weeks he's looked to have adapted to the league.

Injuries and poor loan moves have affected him. Probably will never be a world beater that he looked capable of becoming though. But can still be a good top flight striker imo.

Eh? One is good at quick passing, ball retention etc. the other is good at breaking with the ball at feet.

This is the thing..... some fans have a lot of players down as either crap or good. Little middle ground. Little thought about form or much else. I criticism a fair number of our players but few of them/if any are plain crap.

Put in a few decent balls last night I thought. No Nobby Solano but decent.

His best run of league form since the start of last season is 6 in 12. He needs to do that consistently but I can't see it.

Don't think he's athletic enough to be a decent a good fullback then.

Don't think he's too small to be a CB at all.

Dummett is never a LB. Pretty slow. He's a CB.

Was better at LB than Dummett tbh.

I wouldn't say Anita is creative. But he keeps the game ticking nicely with quick, short, midrange passing. Gets us moving up the pitch. Cabaye has a bit of the Gerrard about him with the final balls, hollywood balls, shooting etc. Anita's probably more useful with the ball withni our half and the centre circle

I wouldn't give him a run in the middle as his finishing is surprisingly worse than even Cisse's at the minute. Disgusting miss from him last night. But it's not is it. 2 league goals compared to 0.
