I thought he was shit today and proved why he's not getting a game.
-
As this rate, it looks like he's never going to be selected! Because he's not as good as he thinks he is.

The Union Rooms (Wetherspoons) is handy for the train station... Is it likely to be quietish the night of a derby though, or full of roaring drunk maniacs? Love eating and drinking in the Town Wall at the moment, just opposite central up Pink Lane. Whats the town wall like and where is it? And again, what sort of atmosphere will it be on the eve of the derby? Cheers Should be more laid back than places like the gate or Weatherspoons. More expensive mind. Their website has a map etc. Always got a canny selection of beers on. http://www.thetownwall.com/ Food's only served till 7pm on Saturday though. I'd agree with the Town Wall, or The Forth which is opposite. What time does it serve food till on saturdays? (the forth) Monday to Saturday: Noon - 10pm / Sunday: Noon - 9.30pm Laaavely. Cheers mate. Just a small point... Don't forget the match is on Sunday lunchtime... So places like The Forth & The Town Wall will be busy on a Saturday night mainly with "drinkers" rather than "diners" as I'd class them both as primarly bars not pubs and especially being the first weekend after pay day... As much as I like both it wouldn't be my choice to eat that evening. Better off going to Grey/Dean Street for a quieter meal or like i said before upstairs in Wetherspoons (The Union Rooms)... Nice one, any recomendations on Grey/Dean street? Thanks for all the replies fellas. marco Polo, Portofino, Simla, Uno's

if it's who i'm thinking of he used to be a centre forward for leeds and caused us a good bit bother, him and aidan butterfield. I have vague recollections of him possibly scoring a penalty at the Leazes End in a 2-1 win for us when Leeds had the centre section with nobody in the 2 corners . Could be wrong mind as it was circa 1982.

Talk in with Peter Beardsley in the autumn where Peter Beardsley basically said that HBA was a fantastic player and an exceptional talent but was also the laziest kid he'd ever met.

What a fucking Moronic sentence. No it isn't, it's the truth. 20 minute Impact sub against tired legs.
-
Do you not think he would be targeted by and have his legs broken by Calvin Henry?? 20 Minute Impact Sub against tired legs.

The Glenn Roeder Effect.

We never have done. Pardew Mmmmmm. Only time i really think we ever did have a plan was when we peddled Ossie and Appointed King Kev the same morning.
-
I disagree, i think they'll be up for it and want to "do it for Mick".

We never have done.

We've played Good Friday a couple of times before in our recent history. Got a point at Blackburn on Good Friday before demoslishing Carlisle at home on easter Monday in 1984. Also got a point at Leeds in 1994 on Good Friday beamed out live on Sky Sports with Alan Neilson (might have been Venison or that may have been at Luton in the cup) making an impossible looking goal line clearence. Leeds equalised in injury time mind.

its fucking irritating at such short notice when travel arrangements have been made. luckily it wasnt that bad this time, but i imagine some people are very out of pocket after having to wait long enough to see if norwich got knocked out, finally book and then for a change to happen anyway Norwich is also now on Mothers day which will disrupt some long held plans and cause grief for others.

Since I got the cut price ST offer, I've been to 1 Saturday 3pm kick-off. Saturday will be 2nd in 4 months at home. Pisstake. hadnt sky fucking picked the games til the end of march? They had but the game they picked was Bolton V Villa and Bolton are still in the FA Cup.

Indeed but still, I'm quite bitterly disappointed that Ben Arfa's not likely to start this one. We need to attack Wolves from the off and Ben Arfa can do that. Sure Raylor might be able to chip in and do a decent-ish job but let's be honest, he doesn't exactly fright the life of the opposition. Considering all the factors (home advantage at St. James'; Wolves being defensively s****; us having a full strength team out), the Wolves game is the best time to unleash the Hatem. Hmmm. I've said this before though, let's see what happens between now and the end of the season regarding Ben Arfa before we jump to early conclusions (I can understand people coming to such conclusions but there's still time for things to change). When i 've seen ben Arfa start he's been poor, and teams double up on him and he's tries to beat them and gets caught out. he's a 20 minute impact player to come on when teams are tired.

Got a text off my mate at 3.50 AM this morning after he got stopped from putting St James park sign on the wall. I'd told him it was stupid beforehand.

Pre-season specialist Haris Vučkić joins FC Twente

He also set up the goal before that as well. -
But you'd need the company to be fully liquidated for that to happen surely? You can be certain HMRC won't sign any CVA. HMRC have filed for them to go into Admin now on their terms not Rangers terms.
-
Are the rules different in Scotland? In England "footballing" creditors are the priority and HMRC have to fight for the money with the rest of the normal creditors, it's why Portsmouth escaped liquidation since they were able to pay pennies in the pound for their major debts. Whyte is the only secured creditor, HMRC will get nowt if they go into Administration as Whyte gets priority. Will be hilarious if they go out of business and have to start in the Scottish lower leagues.

It'll be rammed. Go to The Magpie on New Street or Woodin's Shades on the corner of Bishopsgate and Middlesex St. The White Hart on the corner of Bishopsgate and Liverpool Street is also decent, can't remember if it's open on Saturday. sorry i meant quiet as in not with all the toon fans. should be ok round 12 shouldn't it? i'm working right by there atm the prices aren't bad, any of those ^ comparable? few places iv been to round here are >£4 for a pint We're wondering where to drink before the match as well like, haven't made our mind up yet. Our original plan was around Victoria because we work around there so we know it, and it's easy for us both to get there and then to Seven Sisters but I dunno. Not that cheap around Victoria either. bit of a trek from 7 sisters which is why il be getting the overline to WHL. want to watch the man utd match somewhere, the sports bar at victoria station had occured to me, i was in there before brighton, not ideal for lpool st though. Tube from Victoria to Tottemham Hale and then overland from Tottenham hale to Northumberland park and then walk along park Lane to the away end. or just 20 minute train from liverpool st to near the pub Aye, but they're meeting and drinking in Victoria.
