  1. It would make sense if the family enclosure was sold out all the time. More often than not the singing section was totally sold out last year and then the Milburn stand L7 had spaces all around. Family stand is sold out to season ticket holders. Doesn't mean every seat is taken every week for example on Sunday my kids were at a party so i was at the match by myself. Looked around 75% full at best on Sunday like. I don't disagree, but it is sold out to Season Ticket Holders. Also worth noting that the "youth" section of L7 Leazes is still quite lively and were singing throughout both the home games so far. Is it definitely sold out to season ticket holders? Noticed big gaps in there against Arsenal as well, too many for it to be put down to people not being able to make it. The online ticket system always greys out all of Level 7 even though the 18-21 section looks just over half full and definitely isn't sold out and they also grey out the entire North West corner (Levels 2 and 4) and they have only been around 60% full for both games so far. I thought the reason it was extended was because it was sold out? Again, Arsenal game i had no one sitting in the 5 seats to my right but the regular ST holders who sit in them were back for the Fulham game. Holidays, bank Holiday weekend, change of KO date and time were all factors this weekend just gone.
  2. Welcome to my world, all our summer signings have been younger than me all our players except Harper are younger than me Even the coaching staff are younger than me!

  5. Although he signed for Milan in 1999 he wasn't there very long before being loaned out first back to Argentina and then to Spain. He might speak Italian who knows. Is Fabio Zambasomethingorother still with us?

Our Magpie Movers came sometime in June.
  7. Agree. Takles ages to trawl past them when i am wanting to have a quick scan in between work assignments.
  8. Just seen Gregg from Geordie shore in eldon square, who is a big lad considering he's the one who didn't bother with the weights. Aye, i seen him aswell, i had to think where i knew his face from at 1st and then it twigged and like you say he's a big lad.
  9. Just seen David Craig from SSN in Eldon Square. He had a sandwich in one and his mobile glued to his ear with the other and the jist was "Pardew wouldn't confirm or deny if there are anymore to come in"
  10. After the Rossi scenario i'd be surprised if Ferguson allowed us to have anyone on loan as they're loaned out for playing time which he won't automatically get here.
  11. My mate recons this kid is actually right footed???
  12. From Skunkers but with no source quoted : Straight after Bilbao's 1-1 home draw with Rayo Vallecano, Llorente took off from Bilbao airport to London to meet with Newcastle United club officials. Personal terms are being thrashed out as we speak. Look set to beat competition from PSG and Valencia for his signature.
  13. Why are they idiots? Some people actually follow there religion properly and don't just follow it when it suits them. there's no way i'm getting into a discussion on the merits of religion. but they're professional footballers, if you want to do something that massively affects your ability to concentrate and perform physically (by letting your blood sugar drop due to not eating) then you shouldnt be a professional sportsman. either that or do what everyone else has done for thousands of years, interpret religious ideas to your own advantage and just believe it doesnt apply to you since you are at a big disadvantage not eating. eat your pasta, drink your lucozade, then go out there and score a hat-trick for your NEW club that's paying you a fortune. stop bowing to peer pressure and face your responsibilities. So 23% of the world should not aim to become professional sportsmen because they don´t eat during daylight hours one month each year? Pakistani Cricket team have always seemed to manage alright mind.

    Alan Pardew

With Shola and Vukic injured he had no choice ffs.. Shut the fuck up, man. Clueless tool. Pards made a couple of mistakes today but generally got it right. He deserves a lot of credit for our good start. Needless was what i got told for something like this. (although i didn't actually get told!)
  15. Humble Pie currently being digested in the Doza household. canny cameo but blatantly nowhere near good/fit enough to play anywhere near 90 minutes.

Wonder if that's because he's moved up the pecking order or because there's nobody else coming in. when the 2nd goal went in the kid in front of me turned around and said "ashley'll be putting the cheque book away right now". We're woefully short of players in every position as decent cover who can come in and do a job seamlessly.
  17. I thought Fulham passed us off the park and made life very uncomfortable for us and if it weren't for Tim Krul would have scored at least 4 goals.
  18. Still in hospital, must be hard for him. but doing well! The baby still only weighs 5LB and is still in hospital. I think it's taking it's toll on him and this international break will help.

he took a nasty whack off Haageland in the first 5 minutes and looked like he would have to come off. he had a chance to shhot soon after with his left but couldn't because he was struggling. Did well to run it off and score the goals.
  20. Looked like he'd brokedn his wrist. he was in agony when they were looking at it next to the tunnel and he went down the tunnel as soon as Smith was told to go on.
