  1. Immense. If it wasn't for the judas irish cunt given he'd have had a hat trick.
  2. This is the move I'd make atm. We need Jonas. Jonas and Cabaye have been our best attacking players. Just have no one to aim at as Ba and Best have been poor.
  3. Our best work has come from Cabaye and Jonas. Obertan isn't doing enough and isn't beating his man, flatters to deceive.
  4. Does CNZ not play left wing for the Villa like? He hasn't played there for years. Where's he play like right wing? if so force him outside on his right, it's not rocket science.
  5. gulp That Defence is nothing to write home about mind. Bent will get chances and our only hope is that he is having an off day. If we get at them on the groun at pace aye, but all we'll do if hoof it high and long and see Dunne gobble it up.
  6. If it isn't the same team as monday i think the only change will be Lovenkrands in for Shola. Does well against McLeish usually as well.
  7. The Tudor Rose in Dunston had a big chalk board outside advertising it today. I know it's not city centre, but things are so much nicer south of the river -

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Aye, but colocho is saying not to play him for weeks on end yet and his answer as to why is to show a picture of him with a broken leg. he got a kick in the summer and i've yet to read anywhere that he had ligament damage etc so am assuming he was just bruised and if so he's been out a hell of a long time.

If you're scared to play him in case he get's injured again then you're admitting he's a perma crock
  11. As many threads about the same thing as you like with fewer pages rather than threads going back 3 years with hundreds of pages that are now mostly irrelavent.
  12. They charge away fans the price of the most expensive ticket for home fans, I believe, which is in line with the PL law that you're not allowed to charge more than that. You're right, though, it is a rip off. It won't make you feel better, but my mate has bought a ticket just along from my ST in the Upper Trinity and it cost him 43 notes, too. What's more, as I stumped out 580 quid for my ST, I'll be taking a long, hard look at the ticket prices this season. What they've effectively done is conduct a summer transfer and manager acquisition period of such utter, utter fucking ineptitude, that they have effectively driven a big wooden stake through the last remaining vestiges of hope at the club. Season ticket sales are down 8,000. They have massively, massively underestimated the fans reaction to appointing McLeish, too. An aura of doom hangs around the whole place. This is the sort of ineptitude we're dealing with. After appointing AM, they realised how much they'd annoyed people, and wrote to previous ST holders to try and gee them up. Here's the text. Spot the glaring ommission. Well, actually, I'll point it out. Not a single mention of on-field aims, of football intentions, of trying to compete. Not one. It reads like a letter to shareholders. I know a few people who were wavering on renewing, got this badly thought out nonsense, and knocked the idea right on the head as a result. The letter makes it sound like we're meant to cheer being one of the top 20 money raking clubs in Europe. Much like us, aren't you unbeaten in 5 league and cup games this season?

Where? The only thing i can see about him are in the pre Villa info: Hatem Ben Arfa (leg) There still seems to be genuine hope that he'll play some part in the Forest game. It didn't say that earlier on like.

Dotcom reckon he won't play at Forest, saying that prediction is looking increasingly unlikely.
  15. Rectom? He's calling Newcastle UNited an arse!

Wouldn't play him left at all, Jonas is our left winger and a very good outlet he is too. I'd ply him up front with Leon best and send Shola to the glue factory.
  17. 6 and 2 3's really as they're both a crock of shit. At least ba appears to try though.
  18. I thought Simpson and S Taylor were our 2 best players and Best 3rd (of those who started). Sammy brought a bit of enthusiasim and directness to our play.
  19. none. Well that's a lie. I can't remember him making a save, but he did get beat by SWP and was thankful for Saylor to head off the line. We're keeping clean sheets and not losing games and picking up points despite not playing well. I'll take that like.

Radio just said his car got TWOC'ed while he was being breathalysed but the police stopped the car not far away and arrested the 2 kids who'd done it.
  22. Just been told from a reliable source that Danny Simpson was indeed - at one stage on transfer deadline day - in a taxi on his way to Newcastle Airport to catch a plane to East Midlands. He indicated to the taxi driver he didn't want to leave, was settled here (just had a baby) etc etc. It was called off before he boarded the aircraft. That would substantiate his bizarre comments in fridays chronicle that he relishes the 'healthy competition' with Santon for the right back slot. Ryan Taylor and Ferguson for left back and Simpson and Santon for right back ??????? Goner be another interesting one to see where this Santon actually plays.
  23. To be fair to the bong eyed cunt i think his answers are decent.
