  1. Probably also don't want to play in front of our fans, especially the mood the fans are in, Williamson would be a prime target. Yip, which isn't fair on him as he appears to be a nice enough bloke who is well aware of his own limitations and the audible groans the first time he hits it long (usually because none of our esteemed midfield have showed for the ball short) would no doubt see him retreat into his shell.
  2. They don't want to play for McClaren, slightest twinge and they shie off.
  3. Gave away the free kick and then stood and watched as they scored. Otherwise he was okay and at least "put a shift in" (copyright Ando).
  4. I got told he was in line to replace Pardew and backed £30 on him! Titter.
  5. Dear Me, I'm pretty sure we scored against the run of play in the 1st place as well.
  6. SHAMBLES Only Cisse and De Jong come out of that with any credit for me. The rest are on strike.
  7. Needs dropping asap out of the matchday squad, he's not even worth a place on the bench yet gets picked every single week.
  8. I've seen us relegated 3 times and can't remember us ever being as bad as we have been these past 2 games. There's just no spark, no effort whatsoever. We're so fragile it's unreal.
  9. Someone with a bit of charisma and authority would be a start charisma and authority won't magic our defense into one fit for purpose I agree but the players just seem to have no respect for him whatsoever That's how it looks, it looks like they're deliberately downing tools and not playing for him.
  10. He's got to go tonight, he simply cannot motivate the players and hasn't got the balls to drop any of the so called stars who are just coasting.
  11. A very bored looking Daryl Janmaat pushing a stroller around Fenwicks while his missus looked at handbags yesterday afternoon.
  12. Aye, but it's irritating when certain people (Ujpest Doza being one of the main offenders) use him as weird way of pointscoring in an effort to prove that they 'were right all along' about something, what it is I'm not even sure any more. Colback is better than Tiote and probably better than Anita, all 3 are absolutely shite I think most would agree. I'm not points scoring or saying I'm right all along. I'm stating exactly what a couple of others have said which is that he has been missed. We do need a proper box to box midfielder though who can both tackle and break up play and pick a pass and dictate the game. Nobody in our squad can do that.
  13. I think we've missed him personally. get's a lot of unfair stick on here.
  14. I watched the 2nd half and they didn't just lump it long, they tried running at them down the flanks with Zaha and Bolasie but Sunlun sat deep and cut off all space reducing palace to long range shots from Cabaye (who stills looks class).
  15. We are creating next to nothing. Our midfield is atrocious.
  16. Great one to him just after half time on Saturday that the defender got a boot to. Amazingly, when we benched him for Cisse we then started throwing crosses into the box!!!
  17. There's a difference between being pleased for him and grudgingly respecting his achievement.
  18. First half they didn't look much at all but in the 2nd they upped their game and we just gave up the ghost and didn't bother so hard to say really. The League Table however does not lie.
  19. Did he? Who was he managing like?
  20. We'd have been rightly up in arms if we'd got Ranieri at the time Why? He's got a very good record at club level and was very unlucky to get binned at Chelsea.
  21. He was the only one working and moving though. When he had the ball no one would move so he could make a pass, he had no options available to him which meant that he had to take players on himself. The problem with this though is that people mistakenly think he's a poor player, selfish, or having a poor performance when he ultimately does lose the ball, as you have done. He's the only outlet we have. Ben Arfa had a similar problem here when Pardew thought along the same lines which ultimately lead to him leaving us, something which this very board and majority of fans massively disagree and are still angered with. Everyone else was shit scared of touching the ball.
