D but potentially A -S. He has the physical attributes and technical ability to be a ballack or a Gerrard.

He's a B+/A-. Fantastic midfielder, great attitude.

This was what stood out to me. It was possibly to avoid mistakes playing it out but we definitely bossed them in midfield. The second balls were our s all day. By turning it into a physical contest it played to our strengths. By avoiding little tiki taka nonsense we got the Liverpool players on the back foot. They won't be drilling defending long balls over the fullbacks - they will be drilling pressing in tight spaces. It was direct but with purpose. To be honest if we play like that very few can physically dominate our midfield. If you think about it everyone is pressing super high, trying to cut out passes around the back. If you beat the press by balls into channels you can follow up on the second ball and leave the opposition high up on the wrong side of the ball. I'm glad we were brave enough to break the meta. And the one time we tried playing it out, Bruno was caught with it and they scored. More of this football tbh.

Brutal.. He's an angry chap. Anyway - was a mistake of a signing for us and now them. Not sure what he even is - looked lost at CB and LB. Maybe needs to be in a 3. He's what? 4th choice lb and 4th? choice CB here. Not anywhere near earning those wages. Guess he was a gamble that didn't pay off after we missed out on Guhei and Tosin.

He's a D. Can play as high as a C on occasion. Been unlucky with injuries. Dedicated and hard working but let down when it comes to his passing. Pops up with goals and can be a danger but never really recaptured that aspect post injury. Still think he's really important to keep around, to mentor Miley and provide rotational cover. Lost his place to Tonali which is no disrespect. Works his ass off and there was a time pre Tonali where he was the only one who could play RCM. He'd start for most of the bottom half - maybe not the fallen giants 😂
