Uruguay v Jamaica in 20. Hoping for surprise but doubt it.
-
What? So no Ibra I guess even if it seemed unlikely
-
Why hasn't he gotten games over Masch? because Masch is better maybe?

£20m or something around that. Anything over £30m is ridiculous.

Exactly where the motherfucker has gone. Actually think it all started with too many good strikers causing youth players to change their positions in order to get to play for clubs. So we have an inflation of defenders while no strikers. In Brazil you do tests to get into clubs at a young age so everyone seeking started seeking as defenders or something else as they expected there to be a better chance because competition as a striker was too fierce. Guess everyone thought the same and no strikers have developed.

Also VI it's probably Neymar up front switching with either Tardelli/Firmino. Definitely our weakest spot, but for all the shit Dunga gets he's once again building a team playing above their abilities. I don't like Elias, but without Luiz Gustavo there's not much we could do at the moment. I personally think Fernandinho is great as long as refs are lenient () towards him, he's what made Yaya become that Yaya of 13/14. But yeah, we have no defensive midfielder and no real goal threat if Neymar gets injured. Willian does play far above his Chelsea level whenever he plays for Brazil, and I can only wish for Mourinho to see that and stop giving Oscar playing time when Willian is clearly a better player when he doesn't have to cover for a right back.

I don't like the centenario because it's a year after this one, what's the prestige in winning any of them then? For Brazilian standards, that's not good at all imho. Tardelli and Firmino upfront? Dat midfield too... Defence looks good, though, even taking into account you're missing the likes of Silva or Marcelo. It's probably your strongest line. I saw that Rafinha is on the standby list. Given the season he's had, he has no business being near the Brazilian team. Would still beat Spain 3-0

Was one of the best experiences I've had despite the results.

Dani Alves called up instead of Danilo who has been injured. Will put some pressure on Fabinho now to perform, because Dani is in some form, and if Fabinho doesn't impress against Peru I can see him losing his spot immediately. Think Brazil will be starting Jefferson Fabinho DavidLuiz Mirana FilipeLuis Elias Fernandinho Willian Coutinho Neymar Tardelli/Firmino Not horrible but not good either. Should probably be happy reaching semi's based on the midfield we have.

A spectacular 1-0 thrashing of Honduras. dunga style.

Saw that. Hilarious with Non-Alcohol part.

Brazil through on penalties. Were much much better than Uruguay and Man Utd player Pereira came off the bench and was close to score couple of times. Looked a very good prospect.

Nah, I mean if Ashley somehow has had a stroke and changed his ways and all of that actually happened I'd be willing to support the club again. But it's never going to happen is it, so what's the point? Do we really need to suffix everything we say on this forum with "it's never gonna happen" etc, I'm pretty sure we can all work out what's hypothetical and what's not. Particularly in a thread called "Imagine" Sorry... pet hate. Sorry, but that's what happens after all these years. Even in this thread, it's still going to end with never gonna happen.

U20 World Cup has reached the knock-out stage. Brazil v Uruguay in OT right now and winner will play Portugal in quarters. Germany has been decent in the tournament and are probably through to the final with their side of the bracket looking quite easy unless Mali really are the real deal. Winner of Brazil/Uruguay and Portugal probably going through as well unless Senegal and Uzbekistan shocks everyone. US playing Serbia in one quarter-final but can't see any of them passing by a strong German side in the semi. Been some entertaining teams in the tournament in terms of history. Myanmar (absolutely destroyed) and Fiji played and Argentina went out with 2p in their group with Panama, Austria and Ghana.

You know, if we invest heavily in the squad this summer and McClaren has us playing decent football (don't care about results at the moment) I'll celebrate like mad. But I highly doubt any of these things will happens so I'll keep on falling more and more out of love with this club. Although I am ready to give it all a new fresh start if we invest heavily this summer.

Top 3 Brazilian player in history according to most behind Pele and Garrincha says it all about the type of player he was. Romario and Ronaldo are usually put above him because of winning the WC, but in terms of quality few can say that apart from Garrincha and Pele there was a better one in Brazil than him. I'd love Zico to become president for the fact that he seems extremely honest and has always been loved wherever he's been. My only problem is installing a Brazilian at the helm again, it's just bound for failure once again.

What an abomination this is. How dare you.

Nowhere near as bad as Scolari in that department tbf.

Our team is absolute sank on paper, but Dunga has gotten us solid once again. No idea how the friendlies will translate into a tournament, but we've been extremely good in all friendlies except the one against Chile.
