Very good result, but it's still an open tie. 3-1 and it's game over. Now it's a goal from City at Camp Nou and it's loads of pressure on Barcelona.
-
FFS. Suarez missed one on one after Neymars through ball, Neymar then tried some fancy shit after being played one on one by Messi and now Messi misses that penalty. Christ. Should've ended the tie here.
-
I can't count the amount of City players that are at this level tbf. Aguero, Silva and maybe Zab. Kompany is exposed in games like these.
-
Barcelona should be up 3-0. Messi is on another planet tonight again while Suarez is scoring. Neymar has done some excellent stuff as well, but wish he got proper boots so he doesn't fucking slip every minute or so. City's midfield is abysmal. Fernando - Milner
-
Barcelona with one change from the weekend. Masch for Mathieu. City starts Fernando - Milner in midfield and Dzeko - Aguero up top. Think it might work in Barcelonas favour with their ability to counter-attack like against Atletico.

Just realized a guy I used to play with will be playing CONCACAF Champions League. and subbing for Beckerman at times. Pretty jealous.
-
Suarez and Neymar were shocking today.

NVM. Only alves. Thought Bravo stopped at first.
-
Fucking Alves. Despite Bravo being at wrong too that was a shit touch.
-
That's an absolutely ridiculous stat, and I'm not even talking about the missed ones. 47 fucking penalties? Can't remember last time we had one ffs.
-
For us at the moment, Perez. Historically Bellamy. Bellamy - Shearer. Don't think I'll ever enjoy a partnership as much as those at this club again. Complemented each other so well.

TBF I see Cesc as the playmaker of that team. Playmaker for me is the one that dictates the tempo of games and creates chances. Hazard does create and all, but he doesn't really dictate the tempo of the game like Messi does when he plays on the wings. It's harder for a winger to be a playmaker in MY way of seeing it.

He's going to be top 10 CL scorer all time soon, doesn't get enough credit IMO. At least not from me in terms of scoring apparently Always seen him as a very very good footballer on his day, but never actually realized he scores this much
-
NVM Benzema has scored far more than I thought Guess Ronaldo overshadows that.
-
From recent times - Drogba would be up there. 09-10 was probably the only season where he went mental for goals. Any target player that can link up play basically. Benzema is another one. Doesn't score a ridiculous amounts of goals, but despite not being a targetman in the traditional sense is a fucking fantastic link-up player. Back in the days I always thought Fernando Morientes was the shit. Guy was so technically intelligent.

Lisandro Lopez ex-Lyon signs for Internacional. Going by wiki he hasn't been doing that well in Qatar but was always a very good player for both Lyon and Porto. Interesting signing nonetheless.

Suarez.

Fair enough, another 10 players are still better than Hazard.

Enlighten me how he's definitely in the top 10. Neuer, Fabregas, Ribery, Robben, Muller, Neymar, Messi, Suarez, Aguero, Zlatan, Cristiano are all in my opinion better players. So not sure I agree he's definitely in the top 10. I understand there is a case to put him above some players, but we can't go on what he would be in another role. Because for Belgium he has more of a free role on the left where he doesn't really need to track back and he's outshone by De Bruyne most of the times who both tracks back and does more offensively. I like Hazard and think he's an absolute fantastic player, but IMO he's not a top 10 in the world. Even forgot Di Maria and Kroos in that list. I'll repeat it again if you're going to consider him as a striker then he'll definitely not figure in a top 10. However if I consider him as a conventional winger then yes he has been really good. Also I'm talking for only this season so forget the WC etc... I don't consider him a striker, where have I said that? Even on this season purely I don't see him as a top 10 player.

Ah man thought their game was later. Been following them a bit this year. Have a fun team to watch with some good players in Gustavo, De Bruyne and Rodriguez and now Schurrle and Dost playing extremely well of late.
-
Might be some decent value on 1X and X2 tonight I think. Club Brugge X2, Tottenham 1X, Everton X2, Inter X2, Dynamo Kiev X2 gives a decent value. Can see Inter and Kiev having tight games but they should win in my opinion. Got almost 5 times the money on that.

Forgot all about Sanchez. Reus has been underwhelming after coming back from his injury.

Nah, the few coming out of the Brazilian league at the moment I don't know. Do follow the ones who are relatively successful in Europe though. I remember Nene complaining how Zlatan took him off his throne as he was a fan favourite at Paris and Zlatan basically forced him to the bench and then away from the club. What's that little c*** named Mosquito up to these days, Flip? Trying to break into the senior side and get regular games. Always gets games and goals for the national youth teams, but at Atl Paranense he's probably not impressed considering he's played few games. Still young, but Brazilian players that don't play at the top level at 18-19 I have no hopes for, so it be a pleasant surprise if he had a successful career.
