  1. Globo the largest Brazilian media outlet and tv channel have done a 5minute documentary on all the Brazilian players a the World Cup lifes. I don't think there's one that hasn't lost a sibling or parent. Absolutely devastating stories basically every single one of them. You forget what most people go through in life, but to see how some of them have beaten the odds is amazing. Would love to see these from every team, just to understand what many footballers have gone through to reach the top.
  2. Cesc out for sure then? Or where will he fit into the team?

    HELP NEEDED!!

    You're such an idiot
  4. Cabaye is up to date, with all the updates and patches and shit.
  5. Only way Paulinho comes out is through injury. Both Hernanes and Ramires disappointed against Panama. The only changes except for injuries being discussed in Brazil and that Scolari has hinted at being a possibility is Maicon and Willian coming on for Dani and Oscar. I do think he'll play the same, but Oscar has been extremely poor in training while Willian has apparently impressed and been the best. Brazil looked much more fluid with him, Neymar and Hulk also as it gives Neymar the freedom to drift inside as Willian is as mobile as him.
  6. Oh absolutely, that's why I think he should play in a system that gives him space
  7. So is Iniesta and Xavi. That's not his problem, his problem has been trying to accomodate him into a system that doesn't fit his ability. Play him behind a striker with movement and he'll be excellent.
  8. Not sure if it was Taylor, but someone said he's just another Ramires, he's basically the exact opposite to Ramires.
  9. Think its a good move if you actually get someone who is suited to your midfield. Problem with Fabregas is he doesn't really have a position. The way Celta Vigo played I can really see him fit into the same system playing behind the striker. Iniesta will probably have to move further down into Xavi's role though which is an absolute shame.
  10. What's the money on Dzeko? There's a huge chance he only plays 3 games in the World Cup, must be better bets there. Has a s*** group though, should possibly rack up 3-4 goals in the group stage. It it would give me 3-4 £5 free bets in the group stage, where most of the fun is to be had. Think Bosnia will advance as well. Iran rarely concedes goals and Nigeria are probably in the same bracket in terms of quality. I do think they'll advance but don't expect them to score that many.
  11. TaydickJ_01. Have I told you that you're wrong?
  12. Said it before the Panama game that Willian has been extremely impressive in training apparently, and he scored and had a very good performance against Panama. Oscar who's been injured, unfit and under-performing in training has left the squad to be wiith his family has his first child is born. Seriously think that if Willian impresses tomorrow against Serbia he'll start the World Cup.

  14. Immobile at 320/1! Also got Reus at 80/1. Will Immobile start? Balotelli would be a decent bet if it wasn't for that group.
  15. Dick. I'm just saying, I mean you could put money on Muller then, since he has decent odds as well.

    The England Thread

Why. Just when I started to appreciate and actually root a bit for England because of Ox and Barkley, one of them gets injured.
  17. I don't think our group is an embarrassment, I actually think we're not taking full points (a draw in the opener or against Mexico is very likely). I think Fred is a good bet because just like Higuain he knows how to score goals and everything. He's definitely not a shit player, just look at last Confed to see how he embarrassed some of the best defenders in the world. But I wouldn't lump huge money on someone that's injured constantly won't play 90minutes and doesn't take PK or FK. Small bet is definitely worth it though.
  18. Think them to reach the quarters at 14/5 is a decent bet. They would play the winners of Group E in all likelihood, and even if that turns out to be France, I give them a good chance. Dzeko at 66/1 each way for top scorer is my main bet I reckon. It's obviously unlikely (what 66/1 bet is likely?) but if he's going to be on the pitch plenty it's a smashing bet. Because if he's starting, I'd argue the odds should be more like 20/1, 25/1. Obviously stiff competition up top for the Argies. Could easily see him getting 4 or 5, and as cliched as it sounds, it's true that it can simply take one thrashing in the group game to give him a massive chance. Aye, I'm counting on him filling his boots v Iran & Nigeria, maybe nick a consolation v Argentina and who knows in the Second Round. 5 is a realistic figure for him though. Why have I been talking about Dzeko as though he's Argentinian? I know he's Bosnian. Yet apparently refused to be aware of this. f***'s sake Neil.
  19. 4x on Spain, Chile and Argentina winning their openers. That is great value.
  20. If Bale and Neymar went for the money that was rumoured, then Suarez is easily worth that. Suarez Ronaldo DiMaria Bale Modric Xabi
