I’m not saying that a lot of his news aren’t broken that way. However, it’s a known fact that he does have some sources for some transfers at the very least.
-
Yeah, sorry, definitely wasn't what I was trying to say. He's shit

Eddie Howe, the man that would be buying him if this actually happens? Goes both ways huh. Obviously, he'd be a back-up for the front-three. In the same mould Ekitike was discussed being it. What I was saying is that the fee is based on potential that they might see in him. We could go for someone better right now, that is a bit cheaper, but that won't improve us mid- nor long-term.

Like I said, it's not a weird bias of any sort. It's the fact that you don't seem to grasp the basic concept that a 20 year old player could potentially develop into something more. Ekitike scored 3 goals in the Danish league two seasons ago. If Reims gave up on him as you seem to suggest he wouldn't have been sold for roughly £35m. I'll leave it at that.
-
It's hard for some to grasp that. Also, we already have a player with a proven goalscoring record in the PL that is a backup striker for us.
-
At this point I give up. If you think the club (if) is buying him as a back up striker rather than for his potential and what he could develop into, then I can't help you.

Jack Harrison is 5 years older than Joao Pedro. 5 years ago Harrison was playing in the MLS and 4 games for Middlesbrough in the Championship. It's hard to compare. I do think Harrison is going to have hell of a season for Leeds by the looks of it though

I do agree that £35m might be a tad expensive. But you really need to look away from his goal scoring. He's turning 21 year old and is highly rated by the Watford fans that watch him week in week out. After all, Ekitike (who we were after for long) went for £35m and 2 seasons ago he scored 3 goals in the Danish league. If the club, and especially Howe is willing to pay that sum for him we need to trust their decision. *the more brazilians the better for the club.

Impressive to score without a shot on target.
-
The little I've seen of him, I've thought he looks very good. Strong, technical and a lot of effort. Similar to Richarlison, but a better footballer. Obviously still raw, and his goalscoring record isn't great, but he just seems to fit that mould of player we've been looking for who can do an alright job across all three front positions but would primarily be Wilsons back up. *he was very highly rated in Brazil as he scored 10 in 37 as a 17 year old at Fluminens eand people were surprised he went to Watford.
-
He's really getting loads of minutes. 13 minutes in total, all 13 after PSG have been ahead by around 20 goals in each game. And he's looked very poor in those 13 minutes. Joao Pedro is actually more proven than Hugo at this point. Hugo Ekitike failed miserably in the Danish league at the age of 18 while Joao Pedro scored 9 in the Championship.

£30m is a no brainer imo. He’s proven in the UK and turning 21 next month. He’s more talented than Richarlison who plays for the national side and kept Everton up by himself almost.
-
That fee is absolutely insane. That being said, every time he's been on the pitch for Atletico he has been a nuisance for the oppositionn. He's like a slightly worse version of Richarlison. Might be what Man United needs. Some fire up top.

Is Almirons final ball better than Maxi's?
-
One of the best headbutts I've seen. Absolutely psychotic to try to headbutt him once, miss, and then do it again 5 seconds later. That's bad impulse control.
-
If we get Joao Pedro and one of Maddison or Paqueta we're in heaven and the club will be forgiven for wasting this threads time for the past month
-
Chris Wood offers less than Shola did in his last years here. I thought he was supposed to be a good target man, but he's just a big presence inside the box. Rest of the pitch he doesn't offer much imo.
-
I mean, I think he's an excellent young player who is only getting better. Has a bright future if he can develop. In the same mould but more talented than Richarlison that has made a name of himself in the PL. I also believe where we are, is a great fit for him. Won't start week in week out, but will get games consistently and I'm confident he'd end up improving us both short-, mid- and long-term. Says a lot when Watford fans who watch him week in week out are really afraid to lose him.
-
Joao Pedro would be an excellent signing for us. Can't see why anyone would complain about signing a player like him. Far more proven than Ekitike that many were excited for at £35m+ and roughly same age. His versatility suits as well as he can play across the front 3 and would be a very good backup if Wilson broke down.
-
I mean, I don't think he has the talent to be a superstar, but he has the effort and desire to be a player at most top clubs as long as there are other talented players around him such as Kane, Son and Kulusevski.

Reading the Spurs forum about Richarlison is quite funny. Exactly what I said he would be here if he came here. Already a fan favourite, because despite most hating him when he played for Everton he just gives it 110%. His effort and running is going to be improve Kane and Son a lot even if he doesn't even score 10 goals this year. His demeanor just increases the effort for the whole team. And off the pitch he's an absolute character.
