We definitely need another player, for me I think CM feels like a more pressing need given that Isak, Fraser, Almiron and possibly even Willock could do an ok job out right. I'm terrified of an injury to Bruno, I really think the gap in quality between him and the rest of our midfielders is huge.

I mean, has to mean he finally understands we just can't trust Wilson anymore and therefore went all out on a new striker. As prior to the injury they might've though a younger player like JP would've been perfect as cover for all positions.

I mean if we get Gallagher or Pulisic then yes it's whatever. But if Isak is our last piece of business, I can't help but still feel slightly disappointed despite the £100m+ we've spent this summer Wonder if we might go back for JP if all fails.

I'm not Fred's biggest fan, and there's not a perfect two. However, Casemiro and Fred have dominated South American football and have kept Fabinho and even Bruno out of the starting eleven. They complement each other very well if you have four offensive and creative players as Brazil does. Joelinton is getting better each day, but he's nowhere near those four right now. You mentioned physicality, and I questioned it. Same goes for the mental aspect. You are talking about a guy who played 9 finals excelled and won all of them. That being said, every transfer comes with a risk of not working out due to multiple reasons (even our Isak deal).

I think getting minutes as a substitute and playing in the cups will help him develop this season. As of right now he's clearly one of our better bench options. Been decent tonight, clearly a footballer but still needs experience and he will hopefully get that gradually.
