  1. I really want to play you too, still need to get past Uruguay first, but I'm scared we'll get humiliated by your team.
  2. Tony Pulis son plays for Orlando City
  3. Orlando City v Fluminense now. Going to be a great friendly, think I'll start supporting Orlando City over Newcastle, great turnout too. Cuba or Kanji ever been to any of their games?
  4. Being too nice has never been a problem I associate with Flip. Yeah I don't know what I was thinking there. Harsh, just harsh, that's hurting my feelings for real. If there's one person I'm nice to in here except the Orlando people it's you. Always try to make you feel like a part of the gang, I make you feel like a Magic fan...
  5. Also, Fred was all over Chiellini today for big parts. And also Balo's pass man, how great wasn't that pass?
  6. We have no troubles scoring goals under Scolari at least, now we just need to learn how to shut up shop with Alves and Marcelo in the same team against the good teams. Uruguay on wednesday most probably, will be a good game and I really hope Oscar wakes up, he can have a field day against that midfield but he's not had a great tourny, as apart from the first game he's been below average.
  7. Dante was offside on the goal. Bought the ref.
  8. This is just a dirty game from both sides. brazil look dirtier than ever, love it as long as it doesn't cost us a red card. Neymar was 4-5cm from hitting Abate and being sent off so childish. He needs to learn, I do understand the frustration as Abate kept getting at him, but still so pointless. Also David Luiz on a day like this reminds me of Felipe Melo, such a scumbag.
  9. Disappointing for Italy not to have Pirlo or De Rossi. Still a strong midfield, mind. It's like they've given up but will probably beat us anyways. Diamanti, Aquilani and Candreva aren't exactly the same level as the ones they're replacing. IMO anyways.
  10. Japan v Mexico Kawashima, Hiroki Sakai, Konno, Kurihara e Nagatomo; Endo ©, Hosogai, Kagawa, Honda; Maeda, Okazaki. Ochoa, Mier, Reyes, Moreno e Torres; Torrado ©, Guardado, Zavala, Giovani dos Santos; Chicharito Hernández, Jimenez
  11. Brazil v Italy Julio Cesar, Dani Alves, Thiago Silva, David Luiz e Marcelo; Luiz Gustavo, Hernanes e Oscar; Hulk, Neymar e Fred Buffon, Abate, Bonucci, Chiellini e De Sciglio; Montolivo, Aquilani, Candreva, Marchisio e Diamanti; Balotelli
  12. Paulinho out injured for today, Hernanes to replace him. In a way I think this might be better for the midfield, starting to think Hernanes style is better adapted to this team with his creativeness and calmness on the ball.

€18m for Paulinho has been agreed. Might become an absolute bargain if he adapts.

Not sure what the Sandro conundrum is, but I think those two would make an excellent partnership. They could really use a direct replacement for Modric though, think they missed him a lot. Moutinho would've been perfect He's the perfect replacement for Modric, you won't find another player exactly like Modric, not even Moutinho comes close to what Modric was for Spurs, but Paulinho is a good complement to that midfield if used right. He's not a DM, he's a technical midfielder with a great ability to come into the box at the right time. In the national side he's not been effective because he's sitting deep, but that's the good thing about him, he can play both positions. He's a bit like Ramires with less speed and more technique and effectiveness, and obviously the goalscoring ability that not many central midfielders have.

Could become a great signing if he adapt well.
  16. Ya that's the thing. They only look so bad because of that high line and because they are actually trying to get a goal. They wouldn't look half as bad if they sat back and defended just in their own box. They've tried that man, and failed after 4 minutes in both games. What you talking about ?
  17. They're far worse man They can't even get a pass forward, Spain is letting them have a go. They're utter shit. We played them having just got off the plane. Far better performance. We looked far more threatening. Recognize game my friend. Don't take too much pride in having beate Tahiti man. Although I do agree with you.
  18. KaKa man. Love that guy. Tahiti underrated That high line is terrible.
  19. Yeah, this isn't just minor opposition. It's an actual pub team. San Marino would turn them over. And Nigera were pretty poor. So greedy in front of goal, barely anyone was passing or making runs for one and other. They seemed to have some obsession with rounding the keeper? Every time they did bother to work the ball and run into the channel they carved through like a hot knife through air. Said the same not many agreed. I think San Marino would beat them by two goals or three. Tahiti were doing quite well, but it wasn't because of their footballing ability. Jesus Navas and Pedro would have a field day against taht high line back five.
  20. Modest. It's got to be Neymar so far imo. That touch off the chest/second touch to take it away from the defender/shot was an absolutely unreal bit of play. Ridiculous control. Not being modest at all, Neymar against Japan was one wonder goal and then disappeared completely. Today he was much much better and was decisive and had two great plays. But the thing is, Kagawa is surrounded by Honda, Okazaki and then a lot of very average players and he makes them look better. Against Brazil he tried to create but without any help. I don't know might just be his style of play that I love, him and Iniesta are so great on the ball in different ways. Both protect it so well.
  21. Kagawa is the man of the tournament until now. He can create so much. Unbelievable player, definitely watching more of Man U next season.
