Great game it was. Very end to end; Real Sociedad had loads of chances and could have been out of sight, yet Granada never lost the will to fight back and it was all them in the last 15 minutes or so, fair result imho. Aguritetxe or whatever his name is hit the post in such a good finish and almost ended the game there. Sociedad have difficults game ahead, can't see them picking up more than 5 and more realistically 4.

Well Chelsea, Man City and PSG has shown buying success works, why wouldn't it work for Monaco?
-
No I didn't mean specifically buying Falcao, I'm talking about buying players within Ligue 1 which I expect them to do.
-
I think Monaco will be. Look, for what it's worth the same was said about Zlatan and PSG and they gave Barcelona a good matchup in a CL tie. Monaco has an owner and unfortunately money is taking over, unhealthy clubs like yourself and Real are causing other clubs to have new owners who invest shit loads. French league also becomes better as they'll attract players from that league and therefore more money is invested into teams around the league, unfortunately this won't happen if the tax laws really come into play. FWIW though, the French league has now four very capable footballing teams.

Well, after February he has, but even when we were playing terribly in the first half of the season he was one of the few playing decently for us. But he seriously needs to step up his game, I hope 1 month rest will help him.

Granada scores in the 93rd against Sociedad to keep Valencia equal on points with Sociedad in the fight for CL spot in La Liga. What an ending.

Especially when everyone and their mother knows where he's going. I have no idea where he is going...Probably Spain but other than that it's 50/50 what club in my opinion.

The next Denilson of Real Betis fame! To be honest quite possible. He's really stopped developing since the Olympics. I don't know if he's feeling the pressure, but he was fucking class back in 2010 and 2011, now he has his good games and such but most of the time I get quite bored. Still one of Brazils absolute best players, but I think Lucas, Oscar and the way Coutinho is progressing that Neymar needs to step up his game.

Right but Santos are firm in wanting €50m for the 55% they own. I doubt anyone will cough up to €80-90m. That'll soon drop when they realise they'll get f*** all next summer. Actually just read that the other 45% that belongs to two different companies will be worth something like €15m max or so. His contract clause is €65m apparently.

So Dortmund will replace Götze with Bernard and Eriksen? If those two perform like they do in their own leagues Dortmund will be much stronger next year. Add possibly Kevin De Bruyne to that and they're settled.
-
Would still need a striker. Aubemayang Aye obviously. But Gouff/Cisse up top is good enough with Adam Campbell gettins couple of minutes too.

Been watching a bit of Stoke - Spurs from the weekend and Shawcross is a dirty cunt for having a baby face.
-
If we strenghtened with Belhanda and Sakho and lost no one I'd be over the moon.
-
Seriously, if he stays I can see us fighting for Europe again next season. Our most important player.
-
In Harpers post match interview on Radio Newcastle he said Goufran was his mom and that the lad was absolutely goosed when he was subbed, totally knackered and couldn't have continued. Disturbing.
-
I didn't think he was that good. Colo and Ben Arfa were for me the two standout players while Gouff and MYM hade solid games. The rest I don't need to comment...
-
Yeah stability in the bottom 5...
-
Rafa, Martinez, Montanier, Girard will all make me happy. Ketsbaia, Poyet will give me some hope The rest will kill me inside a bit more probably.
-
I think Elliott has proven himself enough to be given another season as backup goalie, although we will need to re-evaluate that if Krul breaks down for months again next season.
-
Didn't know he's a cousin of Juninho. Dem midget playmakers. He's such a good player. I'm annoyed that they signed him. Posted it after the game but that pass to the 3-1 goal. Thing with Coutinho is that under Rafa at Inter he was their best player for many games and he had just turned 18, but he was so inconsistent it was worse than Hernanes, you never knew what Coutinho you would get. With age he has improved and he was a beast at Espanyol and now at Liverpool he's developing even further. If he can start taking his chances and play full 90minutes without looking absolute knackered I have no doubt he'll be a great player one day. Hope Scolari takes him with to the Confederations Cup, he has deserved that chance.

Soton was the much better team, but it seemed just like at Stoke that they have some real fight in them to be fair. Their team technically looks absolute s*** as they don't have a man capable of beating someone. But credits where it's due and Di Canio has them fighting for every single point, especially as Soton deserved to win with Lambert missing one great chance in the first half and then having another one magnificently saved by Mignolet.

If he's not sacked with immediate effect Dekka and Mike deserves a beating. One of the most embarrassing things I've read. How about none of the fans turn up for the game Pards? Idiot.
-
Two? In total there were three incidents, none which should've been pens tbf. But I do agree, needs to improve a lot defensively.
-
Can't see Ashley and Dekka giving him the boot, so expectations are down, but it would definitely be the best news in a long while.
