If we went for Tomori or Guehi straight from Chelsea people would have been saying we have our CB back pairing sorted for the next ten years like they did with our full backs when we signed Hall and Tino. They would be fewming if we bought them at age 27 after years Wolves or Leeds though.

Aye, he will want to be playing and scoring to get to the Euros as well. Big decision with him in the summer. But I cannot see anyone else buying him with his injury record and age now. He will get plenty of games next season if he stays and is fit. If only because Isak will be injured as well. Ideally he comes back and gets a few goals to get us into a European competition.

Ideally get a young striker who can play on the wing and Wilson is kept as a bench option or if needed if Isak and new striker are out. We still have a good few years of squad building to do.

With Murphy back we can always start with Gordon/movement up top and have Isak on later if not quite 100%. Be good when Barnes and Wilson back too. Man would have be in the fight for 4th if everyone was fit.

Aye, was just getting back up to speed last couple of games as well. Hopefully Wilson/Barnes back to give us some options and let Isak rest.
