Another loan from Chelsea with obligation for Madueke sounds about right if we spend our money on a CB this summer.

For the first game of the season I'm expecting Hall, BDB, Schar and Tino. Outside chance for Tripps if Howe thinks he is ready since he's only just getting back. Like wise I expect Gordon to be on the bench for Barnes first game.

He was good a few seasons back under tuchel I think. Then seems to have had a few injuries.

I assume we are now paying them higher wages to make the choice easier and selling them on the long term project if they make it. Plus we are now activity trying to sign them. 😂

How long we thinking Gordon and tripps get now England are in the final? I know Gordon’s not been playing but was hoping they would have got a longer break and also back into the fold quicker.

Most of these directors don't seem to spend more than a 2/3 years in a position anyways. His longest post going on transfer market is 3 year. Got to get him in get his stuff set up get some good deals in with his contacts and see how it goes.

If we went for Tomori or Guehi straight from Chelsea people would have been saying we have our CB back pairing sorted for the next ten years like they did with our full backs when we signed Hall and Tino. They would be fewming if we bought them at age 27 after years Wolves or Leeds though.
