The derby games ive been to were the 1-1 Bellamy and Phillips game, 2-0 Shearer and Bellamy game, the 3-2 game, and the 1-0 Dabizas game but I was in the mackem end at the SOS so it was frustrating not being able to celebrate. Emre's goal was the best moment but I enjoyed the 2-0 better. Me and a few mates went down on the day without a ticket and we went up to the ground in hope of finding a tout our something. Anyway, I went up to the box office and somehow they had 4 tickets left! I couldn't believe it! I was totally chuffed but unfortunatly there was 5 of us so one couldnt get and had to watch it in the pub. Thankfully I was first to ask out of all of us. I remember hanging about up beside the away fans under the stand as the go in and seeing my mate and his dad in the mackem end singing abuse. We started chanting 'you fat bastard' at him then all the mackems turned their attention on us and the police horses came and chased us away! Then the results was class as well obviously and we went home chuffed.

Hopefully. Just got ticket. GET IN!!

Spurs, then Man Utd and Liverpool about equal.

How about Ibrahim Afellay from PSV? http://www1.sport1.nl/images/thumbs/466x347/files/Uploads/1162481065.jpg Don't know if he has been mentioned on here before but he always looks a good player whenever I see him play, and I would prefere players on their way up rather than people who have done it all before and are on their way down like Riise.

I think we need two quality CB's. We need them in quick and we need them to build a partnership together over the friendlies and the start of next season. I don't really think anyone we have at the moment is good enough. Faye will do a job, but isnt consistant enough.

We should buy Danny Swanson for £2million. Then Berwick will get the 25% sell on clause. Happy days all round!
-
Well I don't. And thankfully Berwick Rangers don't behave like Gretna so they will hopefully be around for years to come. It wouldnt bother me so much, but these bastard clubs who spend more than they can afford on wages and build stands they can't afford, plunge themselves into debt just to keep up their artificial positions. Then they try and cut everyone else off by demanding an SPL2, blaming the PART-TIME teams for their demise and holding them back! Clubs like Clyde and Airdrie United as well as Gretna trying to stay full time on crowds hardly above 1000. Its not the part-time clubs fault, its their fault. They should be part-time themselves!
-
I made the mistake of taking time off work and travelling to Derby on a Monday night. I won't be making the same mistake and going to Birmingham. Actually, I would love to go but havent got a penny to my name at the moment.
-
Why should he? If Gretna had lived within their means they wouldn't be in this position. IF they survive they should go back to paying part-time wages and if they want to progress do it the right way, like every other small club in Scotland has to do. I would be a bit pissed off if Ashley pumped a bit of cash into Gretna to help keep them up in their false position, whilst part time clubs like Berwick, Alloa, Cowdenbeath and Forfar have to fight for survival every season with help from loyal fans selling half-time tickets, handing leaflets out to get people to go to games and devoting their own time preparing the stadium and things just to help keep the club going. There are far more deserving non-league clubs in the north-east than giving money to Gretna.

Berwick 4-5 Cowden! Gutted!!! Into March and yet to see Berwick or Newcastle win a league game this year! Fucks sake.
-
err, they did... and they got whooped by Birmingham for it. errrrr....totally different. They won a cup and went out and got pished, Duff gets pished the day after we lost 4-1 to Birmingham.
-
Duff the pisshead. We get destroyed off Villa one day, then the next he is in the pub hardly able to walk with his mates laughing and joking whilst watching some real TEAMS play on the tele. With that attitude he is a waste of time. Imagine Spurs players doing that under Ramos!

He signed some very good players for us. as for souness, i still can't believe it today. one of the stupidest, most-poorly handled sacking/replacement in modern football history and a chapter that brings shame on those involved (douglas hall and shepherd). I agree. I can actually believe what happened either! In fact I try not to think about it too much because I just become annoyed. I hate Souness for what he made us and I can't stand seeing him on TV. NEVER EVER the right choice! It was a bit like the Hutchings and Sammy Lee appointments this year, so so obvious it would never ever work, but we hung on and hung on until he had destroyed us.

The majority of match day going fans won't call for his head, they have far too much respect for him and rightly so. It's cretins on internet message boards, phone ins and textins that are the ones who haven't a clue. Thankfully a minority. I wouldnt call for his head, but I believe he should never have been appointed. I don't believe he is the right man for the job and I don't believe that makes me a 'cretin'. I believe I have watched football long enough, at all levels to be able to make a sound judgement on the way things are going, and who will be good and bad appointments. I also don't believe looking to the past for a manager, 12 years into the past is a good way of judging someones abilities as a manager. Nobody should get caught up in how much they like someone when judging their abilities in a job.
-
Smith is a perfect striker in an away game, not in a must win home game. Stupid playing him in these home games against teams like Boro and Blackburn where we need a bit of flair rather than just hard work up front.
-
I agree. Sam should never have been sacked!
-
Hutton had McGeady in his pocket every time they played an Old Firm derby. He is far too hitty missy for me. Yesterday he was marked out of the game by a St Mirren player on £400 a week. Hardly of the standard we need here.

hahaha! Someone from Wooler. Slavering cunt!
-
Jimenez was in the stand the night of the Stoke game so its not really surprising.
-
Berwick game Saturday, Newcastle game Sunday. Suits me.
-
As ive said, only Derby have had a worse result than 3-0 there this season. It could have been alot more the night if Arsenal could be arsed.
-
We were shocking. Other than Derby, thats Arsenals two biggest domestic home results of the season. Its not much to expect a slight improvement. It took 90 mins to get a shot. Unfortunatly, I see no light at the end of the tunnel.

They think they are massive. A bit like Everton in that they take their status as a big club from their far bigger local rivals. There was an Spurs fans phoning a phone in last week having a rant about how Spurs are a far bigger club than us as they win things. Well know your history you cockney cunt! 4 league championships to 2. They think the world revolves round London. Cunts!

Went to Peterhead-Berwick. Was totally shit!
