http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/nufc/newcastle-united-news/2009/07/14/jose-enrique-toon-must-sort-this-mess-out-now-72703-24148778/ that's bollocks about the squad being united, enrique is only staying because he's a stupid amount of wages, if he's unhappy then f***ing put a transfer request in spanish t*** same to all of the players, f*** off, u's got us relegated we don't give a s*** if u's stay or not Irrational nonsence. And who do you think you're speaking for when you saym 'we'? Enrique for me was far from the worst performer last season. He showed no lack of effort in the slightest and always seemed to try his hardest. If I was a player in his position I would be pissed off with the way the club has been run and the fault for relegation goes far beyond the players.
-
well put an official transfer request in instead of trying to skirt round the rules to squeeze every last piece of cash out the club he's supposed to feel so much for. I think he would be happy to stay if things were sorted out. Why put in an official transfer request if he hopes things may eventually be sorted? well why come out and say "i have to leave" they mean the same thing but one nets him more cash than the other. Because if things don't get sorted, then of course he will have to leave. We are a total mess and no player with any self respect would hang around if things carry on the way they are. I think people are looking far to much into this official transfer request thing. To me its pretty obvious the players are trying to put pressure on the cunts in charge to appoint a manager now and start running like a normal football club.

Its ashame it has come to this. Gutted Habib has been forced to leave because of the shamble Ashley has created. I don't think its any coincidence that its the senior players who have been first out in telling us their worried, even if I don't rate Nolan, he's correct.
-
Although she's a cunt, she's probably correct. Depressing stuff. All we can hope for is Ashley to buckle and sell for less than he wants.
-
We know nothing, correct. However we do know that this has dragged on far too long and has ruined any rebuilding we were hoping to do.
-
Kinnear will probably be in charge by Darlington. This is ridiculous. People like Mike Ashley should be locked up for the scale of their mismanagement. He's already cost people their jobs the fat fuck. Would love to see someone smack the fact cunt.
-
There moving all the ones which I would have been able to get the train from Berwick for. This is shit!
-
No sympathy for him. He joined us when we were a joke so can expect nothing else.
-
He's confirmed what everybody knows. Glad to see it coming from a player this time. The situation we're in is ridiculous. Glad to see him talking about things imploding for the last 5 or 6 years. No holding back. Good stuff.
-
What a pisstake. Its going to end up taking another fuckin month at this rate. Fuck Charlie Chawke and his pals holding this up even longer.
-
Keith Harris is not a buyer, he is the broker! The OP is talking about pissing off potential buyers, not Keith Harris. I doubt Harris is the hold up tbh.
-
Why would we want to piss of potential buyers? What a ridiculous suggestion. I love Shearer, but the club is more important.

Was just going to say this, he thought of a football club as a rich man's toy and amusement for the weekends. His naivety was staggering. So no one thinks that his business model could have worked for other clubs? What was Ashley's single biggest mistake? The Keegan debacle? or was it the fact that he let the club play out more than half the season with Hughton and Kinnear in charge? These weren't business mistakes. What hurt Ashley the most as owner of the club was when he started to piss on the fans from a great height thinking he could do whatever he wanted and get away with it. His business model could have worked at other clubs, as it could have here, but he appointed the wrong people and fucked up nearly every decision he ever made.
-
Yep. Should have bought Sunderland.
-
If SP have made their recommendations, at least we know all the bids are in and ready, so its just down to Ashley to accept one. Hopefully, HOPEFULLY, it won't be too long now.
-
I want the best manager for us. Doesnt matter who it is.

saved me the effort, nail on head all clubs bid what they think for players and if the selling clubs want too much they pull out........however from the time of the rooney bid, if we don't actually sign the player then it was all just to con the supporters. the Rooney bid was genuine, and he would have been a Newcastle player had Man U not bid higher, Rooney himself alludes to this. The fact we sold Given the day before to Man city, the fact that Man city were never going to sell him, or anyone for that matter. Earlier that day they'd basically said that they weren't going to sell any of their squad. It was all nonsense, surely never ever believe what a club says unless it can be verified by another. ferguson said ronaldo was going nowhere and beckham, wenger said anelka was going nowhere. man utd said they had no transfer cashand would be signing no-one else two days before signing rooney. you're supporting my point re. Rooney with that useful post. Michael Johnson on the other hand? come on, last hour of the transfer window, club that blatantly weren't selling anyone that day..... that was MY point re rooney. how many other bids do you think were made by other clubs in the last few hours ? there valuation was higher than ours and if 5-7 mill was the bid as reported then i think we got the valuation correct and they over valued him. We never wanted to sign him though. They knew fine well City wouldnt sell from the Given negotiations.
-
The bid for Richardson was even more ridiculous. We were never signing anyone that day.
-
Because we knew City would reject the bid. We had been negotiating with them concerning Given. Newcastle knew they had no chance of landing Johnson and it was only a smokescreen to show they were trying to do something. Just as the Richardson bid was. They knew Sunderland would never accept, but at least they were trying eh? That last day of the transfer window was a joke and the club tried to pull the wool over our eyes that they were making an effort to get players in. When in reality they didn't want to do anything other than make a profit, then prey that it would be enough to keep us up. Kinnear knew this as well. Yes man though.

That Guardian article seems a bit better researched than some of the other shite in the past few weeks.
-
Unfortunatly I don't believe a word the cunt says. If anything im more frustrated now than this morning.
-
Im not sure where this month shite is coming from. If Ashley is holding out, how do people know that its going to take a month. Will Ashley suddenly give up after a month and sell? Will the new owns just suddenly stump up the extra cash after a month?
-
This is starting to take the piss. All the good stories the media make up seem to be shite, then if theres a bad story reported its usually true. It seems like this anyway. Theres going to be nobody left to sign when this thing finally goes through.
-
Where have I heard that before, that's what everybody was saying when Ashley was taking over. True. All loaded clever men are clueless idiotic cunts.
