  1. I doubt it will happen either. We could all see what was going to happen if we didn't spend in January appart from Ashley. Joke situation we find ourselves in and only an idiots could have let it happen.

    RIP sale thread.

Just shut up and pick up your wages you useless c***. It's not like you've ever earned them, I don't know what you're moaning about. He's correct. He has as much right to an opinion as any of us.

    Wonder where this takes place.

    RIP sale thread.

    Exactly what I was thinking.
  5. I don't see why he should shut up. I would be more worried if the players said nothing. Players at all clubs speak to the media.
  6. I said if he wants to leave, he should put a transfer request in. Personally, I hope he stays because I think he'd be the best full-back in the league but if he doesn't want to be here.... He's made it pretty clear he wants to stay imo. He just wants things sorted, same as the rest of us. That won't happen and he'll be forced to walk away - that does not make him a c***, greedy or any of the other disgraceful things he's been called over the last week. It all simply comes back to the fat slug at the helm. I thought he confirmed he wanted to leave, hence the thread title? We all want things sorting out but he's under contract to the club whereas we aren't. He's got a choice - he can either knuckle down and do what he's being paid handsomely to do or he can leave. I'm just saying that if it' the latter, he needs to do things properly. I've already said I want him to stay but I wouldn't want him to stay if he's going to twist on all the time. He's either part of the problem or part of the solution. "I'd like nothing more than to stay and help the team get back to where it belongs but there is no chance of us being promoted the way things are going. "Training has been good and no one is slacking or taking it easy. But there is a sense that everything is just drifting." "This cannot go on, it really can't. I feel for the good of my career I have to get away because it is dragging me down." What he wants and what he might have to do are clearly two different things. Like JJ says, why would he put a transfer request in when Shearer might take over next week and he gets what he wants? The fact is that if we're only going to have players on the books who want to be at Mike Ashley's Newcastle United and feel their career can progress here then we're looking at two sets of players - the wastes of oxygen we've already got on massive wedge and utterly desperate s**** from divisions lower than the Championship. I'd rather Beye was unhappy than not with the way things are going. I don't give two f***s if he's getting involved in fights on the pitch - I'm just living in hope that he's keeping in practice for the next time he sees Mike Ashley. So he wants to stay but he has to get away? That's my point. He's got a choice - he's either with us or he wants away. He needs to make a decision as he can't have it both ways. He doesnt have to make a decision atall, YET! Any player would be stupid to commit their future to the club at the moment.
  7. Midds, you're demanding he either hand in an official transfer request or tells everyone he is here to stay. No player in their right mind would do that at the moment unless they were desperate to leave.
  8. I know what the title thread says, but earlier in the summer he said he was willing to stay. He probably wants to stay assuming we start acting like a normal club and sort ourselves out. He would be stupid to put in an request, leave, then everything gets sorted. It might not be as black and white as you're making out.

To be fair, beyond a few chants and someone flinging a pair of boxers at Llambais, the fans haven't done much since relegation. Man Utd were disrupting race meetings and blocking roads off when Glazier was buying them. It didn't work, but it got peoples attention.

Which Ashley could put an end to. If nothings happened by the Leeds game I can see bother after the game.
  11. As I said, maybe he would be delighted to stay had Ashley done the normal thing in preparing us for this season. We are in a ridiculous situation and I can imagine every player wanting to leave if nothing is resolved.

    RIP sale thread.

Nufc.com seems to imply that Ashley is staying but is simply going to asset strip the squad, we're well and truly knackered, league one here we come. If that's the case then sniffing out Ashley's whereabouts and having a fruitful discussion with the southern based Newcastle owner might become a prority for some fans...who might well be carrying baseball bats on the off chance of catching a game if the good weather forecast for August is correct. It sounds ridiculous, but its getting that way if nufc.com are correct. He doesnt seem to pay attention to anything else.
  13. Agreed. I don't expect Habib Beye to love the club and stay forever, just to treat it with respect and do things the proper way. I'm just astounded that he simply says a few nice comments in the media and everyone creams over him. Don't say how much you love the club if you're planning to f*** off. Simply say you'dve loved to stay, but due to the turmoil and the championship status and the fact im proper getting old, im handing in a transfer request. Done. We're just being strung along by him, as well as the men "in-charge". Habib Beye is basically as bad as Mike Ashley. More bollocks. Maybe, just maybe he isnt THAT bothered about leaving. He had said in an earlier interview he would stay, but I would assume that would be if the club had been sold, a manager had been appointed and we had some stability. He's hardly kicking up a fuss, just saying he wants to leave because of the situation. You could hardly blame any player for that. We are a total mess.
  14. Nice incisive comment.....This guy is (imo of course) our most committed and grounded player. He loves the club, fans, area etc, by rights he should be our club captain. All of this is no indictment on him, but what is sadly (at the minute) a joke of an organisation. He loves the club, fans, area etc yet he'll gladly be f***ing off within the next few weeks? How exactly has he proved his love? He's been here 2 years on handsome wages, then hard times come rolling in and he's off? It's not like he's even out of contract. He has a contract, he doesn't need a new one, just get on with playing football if you love the club so very much. A few kind comments to the media and you're putty in his hands. It's pathetic. What a load of shite. We are in turmoil and he's coming towards the end of his career. You can hardly blame him in wanting a move to somewhere more stable. Hes a footballer, its his job. He probably doesnt love the club and why should he, but obviously has feeling for it. More than alot of players here. Its ridiculous how many people expect all players coming here to grow this love for the club.

Next season is over before it started. Not content in getting us relegated the bastard has given us next to no chance next season whilst the club spunks out millions on wages every month.

    Petition

Whereas it probably won't make any difference, it can't do any harm. At least it may get reported in the press.
  18. Don't want to be stuck in Darlo for the day, that's for sure!
  19. Long's about to get on his knees. Very gay this picture. This one isnt.
  20. look at earlier in the thread where there's a comment of enrique saying if he want back to spain he would be earning far less, why talk about that then I've read his quotes, mate. Make your own interpretations but personally, i really don't know how that equates to him only staying for the money. He wants the club to do well, i think that's pretty obvious. He's a true footballer - he's saying he'd take a wage cut to play for a proper football club where football comes first. i just want rid of the lot that caused the relegation and he was in that group, (I said there was quite a number of fans who hate him as I've had arguments with fans in the stadium about this, I'm not one of them, but I don't think he's as good and committed as some ppl on here thinks). Do you not think a total lack of leadership was more to blame? I think the lack of quality in our midfield was more of a problem tbh. Players don't sign other players, the club does. Just blaming the players is ridiculous as there were a number of factors which lead to our relegation. ppl, just blaming the lack leadership at the club for our relegation is very naive imo it was one problem, but players blaming what happens off the pitch for their own performances is laughable imo, once those players are on the pitch they are responsible for what happens and the manager minus half time and subs cannot really do much more There are a number of reasons but you only seem to blame the players. Ive not heard anyone blaming off the pitch happenings for their own personal performances. As a collective, the performances were shit, but then again, some players were better than others, and some positions were stronger than others. We would have stayed up had we bought well in January and bought a creative midfielder. That isnt any individual players fault. You can blame a player for their own performance and their lack of effort, but not for having a totally disjointed team.

  22. so why does he say's he doesn't want to stay but just honour his contract then WHAT!
  23. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/nufc/newcastle-united-news/2009/07/14/jose-enrique-toon-must-sort-this-mess-out-now-72703-24148778/ that's bollocks about the squad being united, enrique is only staying because he's a stupid amount of wages, if he's unhappy then f***ing put a transfer request in spanish t*** same to all of the players, f*** off, u's got us relegated we don't give a s*** if u's stay or not Irrational nonsence. And who do you think you're speaking for when you saym 'we'? Enrique for me was far from the worst performer last season. He showed no lack of effort in the slightest and always seemed to try his hardest. If I was a player in his position I would be pissed off with the way the club has been run and the fault for relegation goes far beyond the players. there's quite a fair few fan's who think he was by far our worst player, and he was to blame for a number of goals early on the season Those fans would be clueless idiots then. Anyway, he's blamed himself in the article, he hasnt shifted any blame from himself and other players. If a players shit, he's shit, that doesnt bother me and I blame whoever's bought him not the player. If a player lacks effort, then thats the players fault. Jose Enrique didnt lack effort.
