Erm, no offence, but you come across as a bit of a prick there. If this report is true then people have a right to be upset. The man isnt a manager and we will be going into our most important run in since 1996 without a manager in charge of the team. Even Terry Venables would be a far better choice until the end of the season. Appointing a coach, and nothing more than a coach as manager when we are in such a position as we are would be a massive massive mistake.

Horrified once again. Nothing against the man, infact I like him, but he isnt a manager.

Hopefully we go for Martinez. We have no time for sentiment here, we need to do whats best for our football club, not Joe's feelings. He's been paid well for the job he has done.

Glad this got a new thread. Wouldnt have noticed it otherwise.

Why does he need to tell us this? Can he not just keep his fuckin fat mouth shut! If he wants to go for a player, just do it quietly and don't tell the whole fuckin world our targets. -

When you know someone who supports Sunderland, but doesnt want to admit it so says he supports Man Utd.

Just heard Kinnear on SSN and Radio Newcastle before. Exactly as I expected and he talks shite again. Yesterday it was, "We went for Johnson and when we couldnt get him we went for Richardson". Now he's saying we nearly got Johnson and got the final rejection an hour before the deadline, while at the same time saying we bid for Richardson at 12, and got the no reply at half 3. Timing a bit off there Joe. Whats the stupid cunt going on about! Plus, what the fuck were they doing when they were waiting on the replies which were obviously going to be rejections. 3 and a half hours waiting for the obvious "no" reply from Sunderland. And we know they didn't go for anyone else because Kinnear would be shouting it from the rooftops. -
Maybe he wanted to establish himself somewhere before the start of a new season. Will certainly help him having 3 or 4 months under his belt before the season starts again.

It was when Alonso had been chasing down Schumacher and got within about a second of him with 2 laps to go, then they cut to a break. Unbelievable! Thank fuck its back on the BBC!
-
It doesnt matter whether he's decent or not, because they rate him. All we did was go after a player we had no chance atall of getting. A total waste of time. We went after Johnson, who we surely knew was out of reach from the Given negotiations, and we went for Richardson, a player Sunderland would never sell to us. Anybody with a brain could work out Sunderland would reject that offer. He starts for them, they don't need the money, and they wouldn't sell to us. What was the fuckin point? Erm, to put across the impression we were trying to sign players. Obvious really.

Source on that promise? Ashleys email. Don't build up hopes if you can't deliver. Sky are still up Ashleys arse though because David Craig got a bacon roll and was 'looked after'. -

Relegation on the cards. None of this "nothing happens in January" shite and the 'kneejerk reaction" stuff. Ashley promiced signings this morning and he's failed to deliver. Fuck off. -

Because the selling clubs want to wait as long as possible to see how much money they can get, and there are always other options open up for clubs so they will wait. Its not that hard to understand. -

Theyve invited Craig to the training ground. Would be pretty stupid to invite him there if nothing was to happen. -
Striking crisis, so what? Carroll and Lovenkrands could just do the business
J7 replied to The Prophet's topic in Football
Ive saw Lovenkrands play twice. Twice against Berwick in the Scottish Cup. Rangers, and him were terrible and took 150mins to break Berwick down in the reply. Lovenkrands was still terrible and didnt score one of the 3 goals.
