  1. He's always been a liability. He can look composed when the team is playing well and the opposition are shit, if he gets the time he needs. Any pressure and he's a quivering wreck.
  2. I'm reserving judgement on pretty much all our players under this joke of a manager. Also don't think you can call any regular international shit.
  3. Fuck! Sack the proof reader. Spelt famous wrong, how the hell did I hit 'r' when aiming for's'.

  5. I want to see him under a real manager. I want to see most of our team under a real manager, you can bet Anita and Peroze would be getting something of a look in. In fact he'd probably play most of the players Pardew deemed not good enough for his exciting brand of football.
  6. Saw that, imagined Pardew on the touchline grinding his teeth at the audacity.
  7. The utter tripe that pours out of these commentator's mouths. Newcastle have been pretty adept at coming from behind, mentions the Hull game.
  8. Good managerial career? Sacked from every club he's managed. I see Southampton keep winning, and with all the players they lost. Must come from a manager that has a system new players just slot into. No magic required. Yet the media trot out the Cabaye line at every opportunity.
  9. Don't buy that for one second. Ashley would have to be moronic to let that get written into a contract, and after everything else he's had to already pay out (Allardyce, Keegan) he's not getting bit twice. worth pointing out Ashley is never the one to write the contracts agree terms etc, that would have been Llambias who did rather like Pardew. I'm sure ashley would be interested in the contract of the manager of the team. I highly doubt he's involved in any detailed manner at the club. He may have agreed to the idea of a new contract but it doesn't mean he was the one negotiating and deciding on those kind of clauses. Of course he wouldn't be negotiating clauses, but I bet he's presented with an overview and signs off on it. He employs people to do work for him in the areas he doesn't want to be bothered with, but they will have a remit, a set of guidelines or instructions. They won't want to fuck up anymore than you do in your job. There is no way on earth Pardew gets a fully paid up contract.

  11. I think you're being gullible tbh. It's not such a stretch at all to imagine that his PR consultant advised him to talk publically to a journalist and staging it in a location where he was always likely to run into journalists. From who's perspective could this be viewed as 'good' PR? Recent articles in the press quoting a load of ex-players claiming Pardew is a good guy and needs time, that's PR. Ashley making throat cutting gestures in the street to a journalist is bad PR. Ill-advised any way you look at it, and effectively makes all those articles spurious. Lawyers feeling the need to point out Ashley was joking. Why?
  12. Well this turn of events is certainly delineating the glass half empties and the glass half fulls.
  13. Looks legit, just have to lose at Stoke to see if it is. It's a straw and I'm clutching it. You've go to keep clutching at straws. Ashley has form for opening his gob after a couple of drinks but I wish he hadn't said this. Now Pardew and the team will all know what's riding on the game too.
  14. Actually a tad concerned over the new attacking bent to his set-up. Definitely more intent there, more people getting forward and into the box. Won't stop us conceding but it means we may well start scoring a few.

I'm curious to know if the club were even legally allowed to confiscate what was in effect private property. Banners reputedly had safety (fire) certificates and the club had written a letter saying they were permitted. In any event Ashley IS clearly rattled, the over zealous stewarding and the PR guru in tow, the ex-players popping out of the woodowrk making spurious claims about Pardew. My biggest concern now is just how stubborn Ashley will be over this, relegation is a real threat and he might not act in time.

I wonder how many of the people in that stadium on saturday had actually read even some of the stuff on sackpardew.com? Surely not many or they would have been on their feet too, wouldn't they?
  17. I'm still watching, but it's for a different reason now. I watch to see something go worng, a spectacular Pardew blow up, a complete shambles on the pitch, anything that increases the probability of him being sacked. I said i'd watch Hull this season and probably will take in the games where I can but I cannot change who I support, that's in my blood. If I ever stopped supporting Newcastle it would be because I'd given up on football altogether.

That's a whole different argument as current squad would be considerably better with a proper manager. Which takes us full circle. Sack Pardew.
  19. Look at this guy stirring shit, man. Not only that, but Ronaldo slings more insults than a fan lowered into shit.
  20. Where did this stat come from? I've been trying to track it down without success.

I felt for the people running the sackpardew campaign. I think it's fair to say Saturday left most of us deflated with the non-event it turned out to be, it must have been considerably tougher to bear for them. However I see they have a new statement out and they plan to soldier on, good on them.
