Yeah I remember reading those comments, and they made no sense. We were at some risk or relegation yes, but QPR were basically already gone. The lads either delusional or lying if he reckons he saw little to no difference in our positions.
-
West Ham are looking comically bad mind.
-
Well had we kept him we'd currently have a total waster on the payroll Bit simplistic. How do you know that would have happened? Can't be 100% certain but I can only go on what I've seen, its not as if he didn't have injuries before Liverpool/West Ham either.
-
They ended up losing 3-1, to Sydney FFS
-
Well had we kept him we'd currently have a total waster on the payroll and minus £35m worth of the current squad, I mean considering they only seem to spend what we bring in from player sales.
-
Can the players brought in replace the goals and assists of Cabaye & Remy? That's 21 goals and at least 4 assists. Think we'll struggle for goals again without a new striker. I'd take only 1 good striker as the last of our dealings. CM / Widemen we can get by on and finish top half with a 15 goal striker. 21 goals from De Jong, Cabella & Riviere is realistic. 10-15 I would say. We need a striker. We definitely need a striker, but 10-15 between those three? I reckon they'll get more than 20 between them. Have a feeling De Jong will get around 10 himself.

Better than selling him, but still such a waste when he should be starting here.
-
They'll do with it what they do every year. Absolutely nothing. I doubt many people even realize that Cabaye and Debuchy have entirely funded these signings and we haven't spent anything yet again. This is the first season where we'll see the extra £30m+ from the new TV deal in the accounts though, plus significantly increases commercial income. Can people fail to see that burning a hole in the club accounts?
-
Think the final scheduled payment of the temp loan Ashley put in is paid back on the next accounts, but doesn't the Wonga money start properly on the same accounts? They definitely mentioned commercial income would increase significantly in the upcoming accounts so that should cover some of that repayment.
-
Yep, no possible excuses this time, the money from the new TV deal from last season is in the bank now, at least £30m more than normal so definitely in profit and available to spend.

Out: Remy Cabaye Debuchy Shola Gosling Marveaux In De Jong Cabella Janmaat Riviere Colback Perez I think three of the players gone are either worse than useless (Shola and Gosling actually hindered us by being here) or are rendered useless by Pardew (Marveaux). Assuming Pardew can actually use the players brought in () its not a stretch to see that as a improvement on squad depth, but it can easily be argued both ways.

Dear god stop and save some pride man, please
-
Hard to say on the first team, I disagree that our squad is weaker though.
-
I suppose you think he wrote the whole thing, got to the end and realised he couldn't fit a full stop so then went back and removed "Ben"? Yeah right as rain mate.. Lets just accept the obvious, that your attempt to prove me wrong on some twitter post from yesterday is just about the saddest thing ever witnessed and move on.
-
We have a worse squad now. Arguable I suppose but IMO the squads stronger, assuming Pardew actually uses the players he's been given. We still need more of course.
-
Is that Ben Arfa's breast?
-
You're upset that you didn't get one over on someone on a forum about whether someone on twitter may or may not have gotten Ben Arfa's name wrong in a tweet yesterday. But nah you're not sad, cool as fuck man. Here's a nice tool for you to use in future, save you all that troublesome counting malarkey: http://www.twitter-character-counter.com
-
You really don't like being wrong do you Thought I was bad.
-
Bit early to be high isn't it? It would have taken less time to quickly count that tweet and realise you were blatantly wrong then it did to post the suggestion in the first place. But of course you aren't sad enough to count, much to focused on trying to correct someone at 9am in the morning on why some bloke on Twitter might not really have gotten Ben Arfa's name wrong yesterday..
-
Much easier to give it a quick count before posting something so obviously wrong IMO
-
Or one that knows twitter have a character limit..... Not that its true mind 140 character limit isn't it?, that tweet is well under that.
-
Some clown who thinks Ben Arfa's first name is Ben apparently
-
They can't even get his name right ffs..
-
Think they'll loan half a first team again.
