No its 666, as soon as we reach that page the prince of darkness will pull up in his car and buy the club back from Ashley, with his brother Bruce in the back...
-
That's a really bad analogy. Since when does a sports car or a house generate £100m a year? We're making a loss in the Championship, we would be making large profits in the Premiership so the money would be their to invest in players. He's not taking out a loan to buy the club either, you're getting a loan mixed up with the clubs overdraft.

We had enough chances to win two games and the penalty that wasn't is one of the worst I've ever seen, just wasn't our day (though we were very shit later on in the first half).
-
So instead Butt plays on the left, or Geremi, they're shit, so Jonas comes on and is shit and we'd still be having this conversation.
-
He's not fit yet though. Hows he expected to work as hard as he does when he's fit? If he's not fit then he shouldn't be on the pitch. He looked totally disinterested today. How does he get fit if he doesn't play?

Was poor today but had some good moments, for instance the excellent first time pass to Lovenkrands that put us in behind their defence for the Harewood chance (when he hit the post). Still poor overall, but he's obviously lacking fitness.

Keegan vs Ashley and Co case settled - KK awarded 2m
Teasy replied to Taylor Swift's topic in Football
I Agree that Ashley and co are lying pricks who only put this story out to muddy the waters further though. They knew Keegan wasn't going to get anything like £25m. Still Ashley isn't the only one who could appoint administrators IF the £25m payment had been awarded. -
I wonder if they let you play Mario Kart Wii online in jail?

Damn right......should take Newcastle United for as much as possible...... start high in a tribunral! Fixed your post. Couldnt care less, NUFC will still be there, long after ashley of KK. What exactley should keegan have done then? I'm not going to get into what I think he should have done. Because firstly I'm still not even sure what he did go for and how serious he was about the £25m and secondly I wasn't aiming my post at Keegan. I was just trying to point out to you that Ashley isn't the one who would have been lumbered with the £25m fee. -

It was always clear from the comments in the media at the time and shortly after he left that Ashley, Wise and the Arse were the ones in the wrong. Not sure how anyone couldn't see that. -
could they have done worse that arsley. is there any competent people working in Football? Fahim has managed to go one step further then Ashley in the unprofessional Football club owner stakes by not managing to even pay the players

If you are unfairly sacked from a job - which essentially is what happened to Keegan - would you not want compensation? Not compensation to cover me until my 65th birthday I wouldn't... Is SBR a money grabbing cunt for suing the club after he was sacked? As far as I remember he sued only for the amount he was owed from the remainder of his contract. An amount he should have been given by defualt without even needing to go to court. By the way how do we even know that Keegan tried to get £25m? What's this thing that's been mentioned about him dropping any claim for damages as long as the truth came out? -
Can't stand the fat bastard, but he makes some good points, especially about the £millions His entire article is based on the assumption that this bloke has bought Portsmouth as something to waste his money on, like Abramovich and the Man City lot, which is a hell of an assumption to make. Has this Fahim bloke ever even claimed that's why he's bought the club?

Anyway about Jonas, I'd expect a player who's only trained for a few days after coming back from injury to be a big lethargic. not just lethargy...the attitude didn't seem right. Not sure why he'd suddenly take the huff though. Hopefully he'll start on Saturday and I'll get a good look at him. I had to listen to the match on the radio for the first home game this season because I was stuck at work until 10pm

Picking two big lads up front, no wingers and Butt in midfield shows Hughton's intentions pretty clearly. We certainly have the players to outclass teams in this league though if they're picked. Anyway about Jonas, to be fair I'd expect a player who's only trained for a few days after coming back from injury to be a big lethargic. I'm sure he'll be running around like a maniac in no time

Clearly a British thing you don't understand then. It's something to be proud of, no? I think it's great that we have such high attendances, but I don't see the need to show it off? I promise you that every-day fans of other clubs don't give a fuck what our attendances are. It seems like some weird sense of false-reality that we're holding onto by spouting off how large our attendances are, none of it really matters because unfortunately the people in attendance are watching Championship football and Premiership football. Its getting talked about more now because the media and fans of other clubs spent the whole summer trying to convince themselves and us that we were all going to slink away and hide now that we're no longer in the top division. Well we're still supporting our team in numbers far greater then most Premiership sides and that's something to be proud of (and something worth rubbing their noses in). To say it doesn't matter because we're not in the Premiership is nonesense, if anything it makes me feel even more proud of our fans.

What brought this little hissy fit on? Did you see the game by the way?

We all missed him when he was hear as well

How can you say Evertons revenue can't be much less then ours when you obviously don't know what their revenue is? From the last two financial reports (2008) Newcastle's revenue was £100m and Evertons was £75m. £25m a season is quite a lot of money, especially since that was generated from Everton finishing 5th and us finishing 12th. You need to get some info yourself on clubs finances and then you'll see where you're going wrong with this whole idea that we have to have a sugar daddy to do well.. Out of the "big four" you just mentioned only one has more financial power then us (when we're in the Premiership of course) and that's Man City due to their outside money (Villa have outside cash but their spending hasn't been too extravagant). The Spuds make revenue similar to us, Villa and Everton both pull in significantly less. The only reason they're up where they are instead of where we are is good management from board room to pitch side and we can get their too with the same good management. Also love how you've got a set place we could finish under a man you know nothing about, 12th?, why 12th?
