i really fail to see your point. oh no wait, cheap point scoring is all there is on the internet!! that goes you too teasy, and you TT as you'll no doubt try to laud in Point scoring isn't the only thing on the internet. There's also childish outbursts
-
sorry avril, i admit it was more a generic denouement of what's going on - the "talk" we see everyday and that most people on the board wank themselves over is nothing but my point, if you could read between lines, being if there was less talk there'd be more buy but anyway carry on It was fucking comedy gold is what it was! I wouldn't put it past you to have thought the Sports Ministers comments above were from that Krishnan bloke.
-
Fucking hell it took him long enough to deny it like
-
You think he should stop flying in his helicopter now?, anymore demands? I didn't say anything about the takeover.. I just found it funny that he hasn't said a word about it, in fact he's said nothing publicly about Newcastle, and you called him a gob shite and told him a shut up
-
I know, the bloke hasn't even said a word about a takeover yet and he's being told to shut up and called a gobshite
-
Who are you talking about?
-
Someone needs to find those kids and question them
-
Because we're really s***? Yes we were shit in the Premiership, Cardiff weren't even in the Premiership so how do you get that they're a stronger side? Because they finished 7th in the Championship? Teams often win the Championship, improve over the summer, and finish bottom of the Premiership the following season.
-
The club is lucky the players are giving them a 2week deadline; it doesn't deserve it, it certainly doesn't deserve fans to attend next season ATM. They do get paid by the club you know, they can't just decide when to turn up. I wish some of them hadn't mind, so we could sack the fuckers.
-
If it was Johann Rupert I'd certainly be happy with that.
-
Just sent them the Chronicle link with a quote in the email about the bids. They'll probably look at the quote in the email, think "more then two, he's taking the piss" and not even look at the link
-
Just emailed SSN, lets see how long it takes them to make it a breaking news story
-
Yep, both very plausible theories. Why not just say 'more than one' then, which is a more usual thing to say. More then one would be assumed as two and there are more then two bidders? I don't know its hard to figure the fucker out
-
Yanks or Malaysians, if its that Krishnan bloke then Malaysians.
-
Maybe, just maybe even giving exact information on the number of parties bidding for the club breaks the non disclosure agreement. Or he's worried it might so he's said more then two to let us know that there are numerous parties bidding without having to get to specific?
-
Well it does say something to be fair, just not very clearly. If we actually believe him then we now know that the price Ashley wants for the club has been met by at least two parties, which is a pretty huge step forward. I wonder when Sky Sports News will pick up on this and what the wonderful Mr Craig will have to say about it
-
More then two? How very vague. Well if bids of 100m pounds have been made then what now? Considering Seymour Pierce are in charge of the sale and the price Ashley asked for has been met would that now mean they would choose which one to accept? I doubt Ashley can/would turn around to Seymour Pierce and say "Ask for more money" now that the price he sent them out to get has been offered.

again, you forgot "again" It was some acheivement for him to get us relegated from the Premiership. But that hasn't convinced me he's got the calibre to achieve relegation from a league like the Championship. He'd have to step up his game significantly to have any chance at all
-
Yes, look at a lot of the sides that have easily won the Championship, improved during the summer, and then been whipped week in week out in the Premiership. The league is worse then shit, I think people seem not to realise that simply because sometimes lower league teams raise their game in the cup. Over the course of a season the best in the Championship will usually be embarrassed in the Premiership. Don't know why pace keeps getting mentioned. I don't see many Championship teams full of pace, well none that I know of actually. In fact overall the likes of Duff would look fast against Championship teams.

This threads an insult to this forum

The worst thing is it does look like the consipacry theorists could be right. You cannot take over a company and make so many bad decisions and look back end EVERY SINGLE DECISON that you have made in two years has been the wrong fucking one. Statisicly it should have been 60 /40 but this guy has been 100% pig shit thick on descision making since he took over you would have to look and wonder how he made ten bob not nigh on two billion. Why did he bring Shearer in for the last 8 games? Because he thought that would guarentee our relegation? Why did he sack Allardyce and bring Keegan in?, because he thought Allardyce was doing too well? Please lets stop this idea now before it turns into a cult for fuck sake Plus not every decision he's made has been completely wrong, just most of them, and all of them can be explained by an absolute idiot who doesn't have a single clue about Football.
-
Ashley cares infinitely more about his own interests then hurting us, that's my theory.
-
I do think he'll continue to make idiotic decisions, that's what he does. Just can't see him managing to fuck up enough to send us down though.
-
Not directly, but you compared our situation to last season. Suggesting that if the same thing happens this season as last (no proper manager and the same shit players) then we'll get the same result. Thing is that doesn't take into account just how shit the Championship is in comparison to the Premiership. hope you're right man, really hope you are add this into the mixer by the way, lets say the sale drags on - ashley is not going to want to pay the likes of duff, smith, geremi etc. is he? he'll be getting shot of them and anyone else earning decent money he can to reduce his costs for whatever he can rake in leaving us with bairns and cheap dross he's not going to reinvest anything in the team either amazes me some people are glass full with ashley even now - i'm going to sit here and assume he fucks the whole thing up as badly as he possibly can until he doesn't, given his track record take that train of thought and avoiding relegation next season looks like a potential miracle to me already Players are paid by the club though not Ashley (surely what the working capital overdraft was about?). So the wage bill will only cost him if he stays and has to end up paying that off. As it is that overdraft will be there for the new owners when they arrive. If Ashley had to pay all the wages as and when they're required I'm sure certain players would have gone already
