Teams often win the Championship, improve over the summer, and finish bottom of the Premiership the following season.

Well it does say something to be fair, just not very clearly. If we actually believe him then we now know that the price Ashley wants for the club has been met by at least two parties, which is a pretty huge step forward. I wonder when Sky Sports News will pick up on this and what the wonderful Mr Craig will have to say about it

Considering Seymour Pierce are in charge of the sale and the price Ashley asked for has been met would that now mean they would choose which one to accept? I doubt Ashley can/would turn around to Seymour Pierce and say "Ask for more money" now that the price he sent them out to get has been offered.

Yes, look at a lot of the sides that have easily won the Championship, improved during the summer, and then been whipped week in week out in the Premiership. The league is worse then shit, I think people seem not to realise that simply because sometimes lower league teams raise their game in the cup. Over the course of a season the best in the Championship will usually be embarrassed in the Premiership. Don't know why pace keeps getting mentioned. I don't see many Championship teams full of pace, well none that I know of actually. In fact overall the likes of Duff would look fast against Championship teams.
