So the options are relegation or the threat of relegation over the next 3 years? Why would anyone choose certain relegation over possible relegation?
-
A minority on here seem to think he's the worst player ever, which I can't wrap my mind around to be honest. You're second paragraph is pretty much spot on. He's had good games where he's looked classy and assured, and others were he's looked unsure of himself, a mixed first season, but hardly cause to hound him out. Having said that I think most fans support him and will give him some time.
-
I just don't agree that he's out muscled or out paced in most games (he has been too often for my liking, but I'd hope that will improve) nor that he's only had the odd good game and twice as many bad. I didn't say he's had a good season, but there's a big gap between not having a good season/not looking worth £10 million and being absolutely shocking or the worst player in the team. Is there any point in arguing with his examples?, a lot of them are totally subjective, I could come out with a totally different opinion on who was to blame but for some reason I just don't see it making any difference, do you? Has there been a worst player?, are you serious? Ameobi?, Nicky Butt, Geremi, should I go on?

Two words - Leeds United, it could happen to us. As in bankruptcy?, no it couldn't. Leeds had large debts and nobody to help pay them, our only debts are now held by the owner of the club as an interest free loan.
-
Its not just a case of not being able to afford our debt repayments. They were costing us 8 million pounds a year, but we were losing 35 million a year! You can restructure the debts all you like but its not going to have much impact when you're losing £27 million a year before repaying current debts. At the end of the day our losses were spiraling out of control. The biggest cause as far as I can see is the wage bill which has been allowed to reach an absolutely disgusting level (twice what it should be really) despite poor performances on the pitch. If our wage bill was in control our debt repayments would have been easily affordable with plenty of cash left over for transfers.

Nonsense he has been consistently dreadful all season I've heard people continuously excuse him despite him costing our team what is a quite staggering amount of goals. Surely his performance against Liverpool still sticks in people's minds no...? that 1 v 5 lost was unbearable I've been disgusted by performances at St James Park before but never have I been more disgusted at such a gutless and dismal performance in a Black and White shirt before as Coloccini put in that day at fault for the 2nd goal, 3rd and for the 4th he should of been hurled off for alone. Quite staggering really the amount of goals he has cost us this season here just few off of that long list - - Stoke Home 1st goal at fault turned and out paced by Ricardo Fuller... Bolton Away at fault for the only goal failed to spot the danger and come across to defend the ball in left Gardner completely free... Sunderland Home 1st goal far to deep then decided to try and play Cisse offside clueless idiot... West Brom Home at fault for 1st goal pulled to pieces by Ismeal Miller... Everton Away failed to mark his zone on the areal ball to let Falliani free to score... Fulham Away at fault for the second goal his reckless lunging tackle on Johnson gave away a easily preventable penalty... West Ham Away 1st goal at fault completely lost Craig Bellamy run I'll let him off the 2nd although arguably his fault also.. Blackburn Home dreadful marking on Santa Cruz for the second headed goal... Hull City Home at fault second goal turned by Marlon bloody King... Manchester United Home at fault for 1st goal far too tight on Wayne Rooney... West Ham Away at fault for third goal cowardly turned his back on Di Michele shot... and that isn't even all of them.................. For me his performances away at Chelsea, Boro and Manchester United were possible his only decent or good (if your kind) performances all season and at £10 million that's not good enough. Quite rightly ousted from the Argentinian National Squad in recent months... Cannot stand the bloke.. You're taking the piss on that Bolton one surely, that all came from Taylor and Butt not tracking Gardner's run. Don't bother mate, there's a minority on here who believe anything and everything is Coloccini's fault. He costs us goals every time he fails to brilliantly stop someone from scoring on his own don't you know
-
Its amazing what a few people on here say about Coloccini like, it really is. He's had his poor games, and he's had his good games but he's never been shocking! Bramble and Boumsong were shocking, they actually gave teams numerous free goals. At worst Coloccini has not prevented goals he should have done better with, but he never gifts goals to the other team. Also at his best he looks like a really classy defender. He's had an inconsistent first season, but he's been pretty solid overall. Either way some people need to stop with the goldfish like memories, remember our past defenders and get some perspective for fuck sake!
-
What the f***? Yep, I can't stand him anymore. I tryed to defend him after the first match (even because of the 11 millions we paid for him...), but now it's more than enough. He's a disaster, and he's contributing pretty much to our poor displaying. I'd rather like to see an Academy kid in his place, hoping that someone's going to take him off our squad next summer. Are you really serious?, really? His first match for us was against Manure and he did pretty well. Since then he's had some very good games and some slightly poor games but to say he's been a disaster is just bloody mental I'm really finding it hard to take your comments seriously.

What the fuck?
-
How do you know we wouldn't have been worse in those games without him? The only games we've performed remotely well under Hughton are the ones where the players need no motivation (Manure for instance). For the rest of the time we've looked totally uninterested, something that I couldn't say under Kinnear. West Brom was hardly a win for Hughton either, Kinnear's health problem only happened hours before the match. So when Hughton does something you agree with it was his idea but when he does something wrong it must have been Kinnear's idea?..
-
I predict that won't happen.
-
Only two teams around us are playing each other, Stoke and Boro.
-
Because they're 18 goals worse off. Not only would we need to get thrashed 4 or 5 nil in both games but they'd also have to win both their games 4 or 5 nil!
-
We'd still be above them because of our goal difference Not that I believe for a second that they'll win there next two games and we'll lose both.
-
Seven points is a massive gap for West Brom though, they have 8 points from their last 10 games.
-
Based on what though? At least Kinnear can motivate a team to some degree, Hughton offers absolutely nothing as a manager. Just look at his record, 8 games in total with two points and no wins (Kinnear had picked and prepared to team to play West Brom before his heart problems so I'm not giving that one to Hughton).
-
We also need a manager who can motivate those players, Hughton can't do it, he's proven that time after time. We either need Kinnear back or someone in his place, and soon.
-
Probably the form of both teams. Much like our respective forms last season and the season before ect, yet we've always held our own at home against Arsenal.
-
No he won't.
-
Or looking at it positively we're joint 13th
-
Now at 7, IMO we need 11 points out of the next 9 games to stay up. We need at least a point from our next two and four points from Stoke and the Spuds. We then have three home games against very poor opposition that we need to take at least 6 points from, its going to be very difficult. I only hope Kinnear gets back soon and we get no injuries and we might have a chance.
-
So he gets picked on purely because he's black and he's "thick as shit" because he explains he's a footballer who has money? What's he supposed to say like? Oh yes I'm black and therefore sir I must be guilty of wanting to rob this shop? I hope if it happened to Martins you would be a bit more sympathetic. Errr no. He's thick because after he explains to police that he's a premiership footballer he expects them to take that at face value and suddenly stop treating him as a suspect. ROFL, is that what you think the police should do? A suspect of what?, there was no crime commited. At the end of the day they hand cuffed his friend and attempted to take his crutches away because he looked in a window, do you think THAT is what the police should do? Its not an issue of saying "I'm a Premiership Footballer so I must be innocent" either. He's someone without a crimical record who's done nothing wrong, not only that he's on fucking crutches, he shouldn't be treated like a criminal! If I were him, with his resources, I'd set my lawyers on them and tell them I want nothing less then those officers to lose there jobs.

How childish are those comments, embarrassing
